The Bangladesh Premier League 2022 has entered a crucial phase where the points table has started taking shape. In this context, this game between the Khulna Tigers and the Sylhet Sunrisers would be an important one for both sides. The Tigers suffered went down against Fortune Barishal in a close contest. Andre Fletcher and Soumya Sarkar have failed to convert their starts in the last few games and the side would expect to see a stronger performance from them here. In the middle order, Rahim is in good form and he would look to add runs with Rony Talukdar and Yasir Ali. Thisara Perera, Seekkuge Prasanna, and Mahedi Hasan have good striking abilities and a good show would be expected from them.  

Mahedi Hasan has done well with the ball, and he would look to offer a good start opening the bowling with Khaled Ahmed. The rest of their bowling has struggled in most games and the side would expect Perera and Prasanna to make good use of their experience in this game. With Yasir Ali, Farhad Reza, and Kamrul Islam in the side, they have depth in their bowling.

Mosaddek Hossain’s side finds itself in trouble midway into the league stage. They have won just one game so far and come into this contest with a 16-run loss against the Chattogram Challengers. Their bowlers have been in poor form and Hossain shall want to see a better show from them here. They must win this game to open their chances of making it to the playoffs. 

They have openers Lendl Simmons and Anamul Haque in good form with the bat and expect to see a good start from them here. In the middle order, Colin Ingram is looking good and he would aim to add runs with Ravi Bopara, Alauddin Babu, and Hossain. Mohammad Mithun and Muktar Ali shall have to come up with their contributions down the order for the side to win. 

Taskin Ahmed and Sunzamul Islam have been in poor form and the side would need them to bowl tight spells with the new ball and not allow Khulna to run away with the game.
