Two losses in two games have pushed Babar Azam’s side to the bottom of the points table. The side went down by 8-wickets against the Quetta Gladiators failing to compete once again. Their batting is looking in poor shape and they will have to make a quick recovery. Azam would want his players to deliver to their potential in this game. 

Babar Azam and Sharjeel Khan must score quick runs and lay a strong platform here. Joe Clarke, Tom Lammonby, and Mohammad Nabi have failed so far, and the side would like to see them add runs in the middle order. Lewis Gregory, Imad Wasim, and Aamer Yamin are known for being good finishers and they must prove their worth in this game. 

Imad Wasim and Nabi bowled well in the last game, but the rest of the bowling looked ineffective. The side would need good spells from Yamin and Mohammad Illyas with the new ball after they failed in the last game. Gregory is yet to shine with the ball and there would be big responsibilities on him and Mohammad Imran.

Shaheen Afridi would be extremely upset with his bowlers after the 5-wicket loss against the Multan Sultans in their opening game. They failed to defend a total of 206 runs with poor bowling from all ends. Afridi would be aware of the struggles that Kings are going through and exploit this to win the first game of the season. 

Fakhar Zaman looked in splendid form in the last game and he would look to set up a good opening wicket stand with Abdullah Shafique. Mohammad Hafeez, Kamran Ghulam, and Ben Dunk form a strong middle order for the side. In David Weise, Samit Patel, and Rashid Khan the side good batting to follow in this game. 

Rashid Khan was the only bowler who had respectable figures in the last game and he will have to work his magic here. Afridi would have to lead from the front with the new ball with Zaman Khan. Patel and Haris Rauf have to get their bowling plans right. Weise also looked in poor shape and he has to deliver here with the ball.
