In their last game, Karachi Kings delivered a superb batting performance to register their second win in this year’s competition. Captain Imad Wasim led from the front with the bat and ball for Karachi Kings.

Kings won the toss and bowled well to restrict Islamabad United to 183 runs in their allotted 20 overs. The pace trio of Mohammad Amir, Chris Jordan, and Umaid Asif conceded a lot of runs at the back end of the innings to see United gain momentum going into the break.

Alex Hales was the standout performer with the bat for Karachi Kings in this contest. He notched up his first half-century in this year’s competition. Hales put on crucial partnerships with Sharjeel Khan and Cameron Delport to put Karachi in a strong position to win the game. Hales scored 52 runs off 30 balls with the help of four fours and three sixes. He was well supported by Cameron Delport, who chipped in with crucial knock of 38 runs off 28 balls with the help of one four and three sixes.

Wicket-keeper Imad Wasim and Captain Imad Wasim put on a match-winning partnership of 48 runs to steer Kings to a comfortable win in the penultimate over of the innings.

Imad Wasim played a sensible inning and scored 32 not out off 15 balls with the help of two fours and two sixes. He was provided adequate support by Walton, who chipped in with 23 runs off 17 balls.
