Kuwait would be up against Hong Kong in the 4th game of the Asia Cup Qualifier 2022. Both sides have started well winning their respective games and a win here would take them a step closer to qualification for the Asia Cup. Kuwait defeated UAE in a tight contest, and this would add to their confidence. Hong Kong comes here with a win against Singapore in their last game.  

This will be the first T20 game between the two sides and hence there is no history between them. Kuwait has enjoyed an excellent record at this venue, and they have lost only once in the last ten games. Hong Kong would face a tough opponent here and it will be interesting to see how their players fare in this game.

Mohammad Aslam would be excited with their win against the United Arab Emirates in the last game. In a nail-biting contest, the side won with 1 wicket in hand. They have enjoyed an excellent record at this venue and Aslam would like to build on that. He would want better spells from his bowlers as they weren’t at their best in the last game.  

Openers Ravija Sandaruwan and Meet Bhavsar did well in the last game and the pair shall aim for a good start here. Adnan Idrees missed out in the last game, and he needs to add runs in the middle order with Usman Patel and Shiraz Khan. Aslam and Edson Silva played important knocks against UAE, and they add to the side's batting depth with Bilal Tahir.  

Mohammed Shafeeq bowled poor lines in the last game, and he will look to come up with better spells along with Sayed Monib. Yasin Patel and Aslam are experienced bowlers, and they have an important role to play here. Edson Silva and Shiraz Khan add to the side’s dept with the ball.

Nizakat Khan’s side has started the tournament well. They defeated Singapore by 8 runs in their last game. The side bowled well to defend a small total and Khan would like to see a better show from his batsmen. They failed to build partnerships which they would need to do in this game.  

Nizakat Khan and Yasim Murtaza need to offer a good start as their opponents have an experienced bowling attack. Kinchit Shah played well in the last game, but he has to score at a better rate in the middle order. He must add runs with Aizaz Khan and Babar Hayat. Scott McKechnie, Zeeshan Ali, and Haroon Arshad are good hitters of the ball, and they will look to add runs in the final overs of the game.  

Ateeq Iqbal and Haroon Arshad bowled well in the last game and the pair shall need to do well here. Aizaz Khan must bowl better lines as he leaked runs in the previous game. Eshan Khan bowled good lines and he makes this attack well-balanced with Yasim Murtaza, Mohammad Ghazanfar, and Kinchit Shah.
