IPL has started in a grand fashion and teams are looking to win matches and fix their best possible XIs. Kings XI Punjab lost their last match at the Eden Gardens succumbing to the Russell`s Blitz.  David Miller and Mayank Agarwal fought valiantly in the chase of 218 runs with their fifties. Mandeep Singh too played some good strokes towards the end of the innings. Their batting looks in good touch with their top six batsmen scoring consistently.

Yuvraj Singh`s form in the middle overs in excellent and he is striking at a quick pace to help his team`s scoring. Hardik pandya and Krunal Pandya both played explosive knocks towards the finish of the innings in two matches respectively.

Jasprit Bumrah has been their bowling mainstay and his death bowling exploits helped his team win last match. Krunal pandya and Mayank Markande are effective in middle overs in controlling the run flow. Lasith Malinga held his nerve in last over while defending 17 runs last match against the likes of AB de Villiers and Shivam Dube helped by umpiring error in failing to spot the overstepping in thelast ball of the match.
