Bet NowLeicestershire Foxes have an uphill task as they take on Durham Cricket in the 18th game of the Vitality T20 Blast, 2021. The Foxes have lost both their games so far and come here after a massive loss against the Derbyshire Falcons. Durham Cricket on the other hand made a positive start to their campaign winning their last game against the Yorkshire Vikings.
Leicestershire Foxes have had a poor record against Durham Cricket and have managed just one win in the last six games they have played. Together with their poor form at the moment this would surely be playing on their minds here. It would be interesting to see if the Foxes are able to turn the tide with a win in this game.
Two consecutive losses have hurt the campaign for Colin Ackermann’s side. It was a disastrous show from their bowlers in the last game that saw them conceding 209 runs against Derbyshire Falcons. They would have to improve their bowling efforts as they go into this game. One more loss can make it tough for them for the rest of the season.
Josh Inglis looks in good form and shall have to set up a good start with Scott Steel in this game. In the middle order Aaron Lilley and Ackermann got their starts in the last game and have to convert them into big scores. The side bats deep with Lewis Hill, Rishi Patel and Callum Parkinson in the side.
Callum Parkinson and Naveen-ul-Haq stood out with their bowling show in the last game but the rest of the attack failed miserably in the last game. The side would be expecting tighter spells from the likes of Lilley, Gavin Griffiths and Ben Mike in this game as they are up against a strong batting line-up.

Cameron Bancroft would be happy with the way his side started the season with a 20-run win against the Yorkshire Vikings. It was a team effort that saw them to a big score in the game and they defended the total comfortably. They enjoy a good record against the Leicestershire Foxes and would like to take inspiration from their previous wins.
David Bedingham and Graham Clark got their starts in the last game and a good opening stand would be needed here. In the middle order Bancroft, Sean Dickson and Ned Eckersley didn’t score too many runs in the last game and have to come up with better performance. Paul Coughlin and Brydon Carse set up a match winning stand in the last game make this line-up formidable.
Matty Potts and Carse would look to strike early as Foxes have done well with the bat so far in the tournament. Ben Raine comes here after a good bowling show and needs to bowl tight lines in this game. Liam Trevaskis and Scott Borthwick must keep their economy rates in check for the side to win this game.

It will be clear skies over Leister on June 13 and we expect the surface to be flat and produce lots of runs. The ball would come on to the bat nicely allowing batsmen to play their strokes easily. There isn’t much on this surface for the bowlers and the side batting first would need a score of 180 on the board to feel comfortable.
Grace Road, Leicester has been a hunting ground for the batsmen with the flat track along with the fast outfield offering plenty of scoring opportunities for the batsmen. There isn’t much for the fast bowlers here once the ball gets old and spinners find it tough here due to the shorter boundaries.
We have already seen a high scoring game at this venue and the side went on to win batting first. There isn’t much of help for the bowlers on this surface and hence we expect the side winning the toss here to have not much of hesitation in batting first.
Leicestershire Foxes would be under pressure as they go into this game. They come here with two consecutive defeats and have most of their key players struggling for form. Their bowling attack would have to do well here to manage a win. Durham Cricket on the other hand come here with win and has more strength in their bowling department and this would make them favorites here.
