Paul Horton’s side had a bad day against Lancashire in their last game. Their getting bowled out for mere 80 runs is a summary of their performance this season where they have managed to register just one win. The skipper would want his side to put behind this harrowing performance and win the next game. 

Harry Dearden and Ben Mike were the only players who reached double figures in the last game. While the side has a decent batting line-up in Paul Horton, Colin Ackermann, Lewis Hill, and Callum Parkinson they have been far too inconsistent for the team management's liking. To win the next game they have to fire together as a batting unit.

Chris Wright and Dieter Klein bowled well in the last game but there wasn't much to be done. Ben Mike went for a few runs. The side has been giving away runs too easily to the opposition and this is something they would need to work on if they wish to create their chances in the next game.

As they meet Leicestershire in the next game the side would be eyeing its second win for the season. 

Ricardo Vasconcelos scored a brilliant hundred in the last game and there were half-centuries from Richard Levi and Joshua Cobb as well. The batting for the side looks immensely strong with the likes of Jason Holder, skipper Alex Wakely and the big hitter Adam Rossington. They would like to continue with their form in the next game.

It was their bowlers who let the side down despite picking up early wickets in the last game. Ben Sanderson bowled extremely well in his spell. Nathan Buck also looked good in the last game. But the rest of the bowling attack including Rob Keogh, Ian Holland, and Luke Procter went for many runs and Jason Holder's inability to bowl hurt the side.
