Heather Knight’s side lost the last game against Southern Brave women by 7 wickets. Their batting was poor as only one batter could cross the double-digit mark in the last game. This was the side’s third consecutive loss for the season. Knight would have to inspire her side for a comeback in this game to keep their options open to reach the Eliminator.  

Tammy Beaumont did well but the rest of the batting collapsed like a pack of cards. The side would need a good start here from Naomi Dattani and Tammy Beaumont. Their middle order is struggling, and runs would be needed from Deandra Dottin, Deepti Sharma and Knight. Chloe Tryon and Charlotte Dean will have to contribute towards the end of the innings.

Deepti Sharma looked good with the ball and so did Charlotte Dean and they will have to maintain the same form considering the state of their batting at the moment. Sophie Munro and Freya Davies need to bowl tight lines in this game. Knight and Danielle Gibson shall have to play the supporting act well in this game.

Lauren Winfield Hill’s side clinched a win in their last game against the Oval Invincibles by 4 runs. The side had a poor outing with the bat but did well with the ball to register their third win of the season. They are now in the second place on the points table and shall look to strengthen their position with a win in this game. 

Jemimah Rodrigues and Hill are a formidable pair, and they need to start the proceedings well after missing out in the last game. Laura Wolvaardt and Alice Richards did well in the last gane and this strengthens their batting. The side would however like to see more runs from Bess Heath, Laura Kimmince and Linsey Smith in this game. 

Elizabeth Russell and Alice Davidson Richards bowled well with the new ball in the last game and the side would like to see good show from them here. Lindsey Smith and Katie Levick also did well in the game and the side would be hoping for a good show from them. With Kalea Moore and Phoebe Graham in the team the side does have variety in its attack.
