The side would expect a strong show from Rahul and Quinton de Kock as their failure hurt the side badly in the last game. Evin Lewis needs to do well in the middle order with Manish Pandey. Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni, and Krunal Pandya looked in good form against the Titans and the side would have big expectations from the trio in this game. 

Dushmantha Chameera did well with the new ball in the last game but he has to strike early opening the bowling with Avesh Khan. Krunal Pandya was the pick of the bowlers, and he will have big responsibilities on his shoulders in the middle overs. Jadeja seemed overwhelmed by the occasion and didn’t get the best out of his depleted bowling attack. With the side likely to field a stronger attack in this game, Jadeja would like to grab the first points for the season in this game. 

Rituraj Gaikwad and Devon Conway failed in the last game and the side would look forward to a good start from them in this game. Moeen Ali comes to the side, and he would strengthen the batting in the middle order with Robin Uthappa and Ambati Rayudu. The side bats deep with MS Dhoni, Jadeja, and Shivam Dube are known for their hitting abilities. Together the batting unit must deliver after missing out in the last game.
