It will be battle to move up on the points table as the Maratha Arabians face Team Abu Dhabi in the 20th game of the T10 League, 2021. The Maratha Arabians lost another game against the Qalandars where they failed to put up a stiff challenge against their opponents. Team Abu Dhabi too suffered a crashing defeat at the hands of the Northern Warriors in their last game.  

Both the sides have struggled for form so far in the tournament and after playing four games have one victory each to talk about. For the Maratha Arabians this game would be all about coming out of the string of failures and creating chances for qualification into the playoffs. Team Abu Dhabi on its part would be expecting a better show from its batsmen who have failed in most games.

Mosaddek Hossain’s side is in real trouble at the moment with three losses in four games. It was a poor show with the bat from the side in the last game that saw them go down by 4 wickets against the Qalandars. With Team Abu Dhabi struggling as well Hossain would like to use this opportunity and win this game. 

Mohammad Hafeez and Abdul Shakoor have to work on their scoring rates opening the batting for the side. Laurie Evans has failed and needs to come up with a better performance here. Shoaib Malik will need to make good use of his experience and score runs down the order with Ishant Malothra and Hossain. 

Kevin Koththigoda was brilliant with the ball in the last game and he would look to carry on with this form opening the bowling for the side with Yamin Ahmadzai who leaked runs. Muktar Ali, Sompal Kami, Hossain and Malik would have to improve their show with the ball for the side to win here.

Luke Wright would be disappointed to have lost the last game against the Northern Warriors by 8 wickets. They have a very strong batting line-up but there has been big disappointment for the side on that front. Wright would sense an opportunity here in this game considering the kind of form we have seen from the Arabians. 

Chris Gayle has been a big disappointment and the side would be expecting a good start from him here along with Paul Stirling who has gone out cheaply in most games. Joe Clarke, Ben Duckett and Wright have played well so far and need to carry their form forward. With Najibullah Zadran and Jamie Overton down the order they have good batting to follow in this game. 

Their bowlers went for runs in the last game and looked ineffective. The side would thus expect a good show from Usman Shinwari and Naveen-ul-Haq. Obed McCoy has done well and would need to carry his form forward. Overton and Rohan Mustafa were expensive in the last game and need to come up with an improved show.

There would be clear skies over Abu Dhabi on February 03 and we expect to see a good contest. The track has looked a good one to bat on in the last few games where the ball has come onto the bat nicely. The side that bats first here would be eying a score in excess of 130 runs.

Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi is a large ground and has a fast outfield allowing the batsmen to score lots of runs in boundaries. The conditions here are tough for the fast bowlers as they don’t generate much bounce. Spinners have done well at this venue since the ball turns sharply here.
