Rajesh Bishnoi's side goes into the tournament as underdogs. They won just one game last season and did poorly in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2023. They are up against a strong side and need to apply themselves. Rajesh Bishnoi will look to get the best out of his boys in this game.  

The side will expect a good start in this game from Nakul Verma and Raj Biswa, as batting has been the side's biggest weakness. In the middle order Kishan Lyngdoh, Anish Charak, and Larry Sangma must do well. They will also need runs in the lower middle order from Tanmay Mishra and Rajesh Bishnoi.  

Early wickets will be vital for success on the bowling front, and the side will like to see Akash Choudhary and Lakhan Singh do well with the new ball. Dippu Sangma must use his experience and do well in the middle overs with Rajesh Bishnoi and Swarajeet Das for the team to put up a challenge.

Atharva Taide shall look to put behind last season's upset, where the side failed to go beyond the first round. They were inconsistent, and it cost them dearly. They have a strong group of players, and Taide, who has taken over the captaincy recently, shall aim for a good start.  

Atharva Taide must lead from the front and deliver a good start with Mohit Kale. At No. 3, the side has Karun Nair, and he will look to build partnerships in this game with Dhruv Shorey and Sanjay Raghunath. Akshay Wadkar and Harsh Dubey add depth to the line-up and look likely to do well.  

The bowling attack is strong for the side, and they need a good start from Umesh Yadav and Nachiket Bhute with the new ball. Akshay Karnewar and Rajneesh Gurbani shall look to bowl tight spells in the middle overs. Raghunath and Harsh Dubey complete a strong bowling attack for the team.

We will see clear skies at Jaipur, and the conditions will be perfect for the game. The pitch shall be good to bat on, where fast bowlers won't have much support. The first side batting would target 300 plus to feel comfortable on this surface.

Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, is a batsman's paradise. The wicket has true bounce and pace, allowing batters to hit through the line. The spinners enjoy bowling on this surface as the ball bounces and turns sharply. There isn't much assistance for the fast bowlers unless conditions are perfect.
