Tournament: Indian Premier League 2021 | Format: T20 | Venue: Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, India | Toss: To Bowl
Bet NowMumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals are not having a great time in the tournament with 2 wins out of their 5 matches so far in the Chennai and Mumbai leg respectively. Both teams will look to get a win and start their Delhi leg on a positive note. Mumbai defended the target in the sluggish Chennai pitch and were successful only 2 of the 5 attempts. Rajasthan Royals are having a roller coaster ride so far but will be high on confidence after their win in the last match. They have only 4 foreign players in their squad and MI have loaned them their net bowler Scott Kuggleijn to their squad.
Rohit Sharma (63 runs) and Suryakumar Yadav (33 runs) were the only 2 batsmen to find it comfortable in the Chennai pitch so far. Their middle order of Pollard, Ishan kishan, and Pandya brothers have been struggling so far and will be excited to play on the slightly better Delhi pitch.
Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult have been fairly economical giving runs at less than 7 RPO but will need to pick more wickets to trouble the opposition batsmen. Rahul chahar have been their main wicket-taker with Jayant Yadav holding one end tightly in middle overs. Krunal pandya and Kieron Pollard have made up the overs of the third seamer in the team so far.
Top players to bet on:
Rohit Sharma – Rohit Sharma made 201 runs at a strike arte of 130+ in the 5 matches. He scored almost 50% of his team`s runs in the last game. We expect to enjoy the batting on a better surface in this match.
Rahul Chahar – Chahar had bowling figures of 4/27 & 3/19 in the 2 matches MI won this season. He will look take more wickets and help his team win more matches. He has 9 wickets at an economy rate of 6.85 RPO this season.

Nathan Coulter-Nile, Trent Boult, Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Rahul Chahar, Quinton de Kock, Rohit Sharma, SA Yadav, Jayant Yadav
Rajasthan`s batting unit has been very inconsistent with players not performing continually across matches. Sanju Samson (42 runs) and David Miller (24 runs) took their team home in a tricky chase last night. Jos Buttler, Rahul Tewatia, and Shivam Dube have scored vital 40+ cameos but are yet to make big score with the bat.
RR relies heavily on their pace department in the bowling department with the likes of Chris Morris, Chetan Sakariya, Mustafizur Rahman, and Jaydev Unadkat. They are all capable of bowling the slower ones and cutters into the pitch to trouble the batsmen. Rahul Tewatia has been their spin bowler and Shreyas Gopal might find a place in playing XI if the pitch helps the spinners.
Top players to bet on:
Jos Buttler – Buttler is not having a great tournament so far and lacks a big score so far. He got starts in couple of matches but failed to convert it and has a good record against MI. We expect him to make a big score in this match.
Chris Morris – Morris has led their pace attack with 9 wickets in 5 matches so far. He has been their death bowler in this season and is not giving any easy runs to the opposition.
Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson (c & wk), David Miller, Shivam Dube, Riyan Parag, Rahul Tewatia, Chris Morris, Jaydev Unadkat, Chetan Sakariya, Mustafizur Rahman
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shivam Dube, Mustafizur Rahman, Jaydev Unadkat, Chetan Sakariya, Sanju Samson, Chris Morris, David Miller, Jos Buttler, R Tewatia, Riyan Parag
Delhi will have a hot and humid weather on the match day and dew might come into play in the late night.
Delhi is expected to be a slightly better pitch then Chennai and batsmen will find it easier to score runs. The pitch might slow down as the match progresses and we expect scores to be around 160-180 runs in this venue.
Chasing is the best option when the pitch is fresh and dry in the earlier matches. It might slow down as many matches are played on the track.
RR`s batting order has given contributions from various players in the middle order. MI`s middle order has been struggling big time but have experienced players who can bounce back any time. RR has a strong pace quartet but will need to match the duo of Boult and Bumrah on the other side. MI has a better spin department and will look forward for wickets in middle overs. We expect MI to win this match.
