Melbourne Renegades Women to win
Tournament: WOMENS BIG BASH LEAGUE 2021 | Format: T20 | Venue: Lilac Hill Park, Perth, Australia | Toss: To Bowl
Bet NowMelbourne Renegades Women look in great form in the Women’s Big Bash League 2021 and the side would look to continue with the momentum as they take on Sydney Sixers Women in the next game. Renegades Women won their last game against Sydney Thunder Women comfortably while the Sixers had suffered a loss against Renegades in their previous game.
Sydney Sixers Women haven’t enjoyed the best of records against Melbourne Renegades Women in recent years and have lost three out of the last four games played between the two sides. Their bowling looks weak especially with their skipper not bowling and it would be interesting to see how the side fares in this game.
Back-to-back wins have put Sophie Molineux’s side in a comfortable position in the tournament. They defeated the Sydney Thunder in the last game by 9 runs and would carry confidence into this game. The side is currently sitting in second place on the points table and shall aim to reach the top with a win in this game.
Evelyn Jones and Jemimah Rodrigues look in good form and they set up an 84-run stand in the last game and similar efforts would be expected from them. The middle-order is power-packed with Courtney Webb, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Jess Duffin being good hitters of the ball. The side would also like to see runs from Carly Lesson, Makinley Blows, and Josephine Dooley.
Their bowlers did a good job in the close game with Sophie Molineux and Kaur doing well with the new ball. The same would be expected from them in the game. Ellie Falconer was expensive and needs to do well in the middle overs alongside Ella Hayward. Carly Lesson and Webb bowled tight lines in the last game, and this would add to their confidence.

It was a disappointing show with the bat from Ellyse Perry’s side in the last game against the Melbourne Renegades Women. Their top-order failed, and this led to a below-par score in the game. They ended up losing by 7 wickets. As they take on the same side in the next game the side would be looking to even it out with a good show here.
Shafali Verma and Alyssa Healy missed out in the last game and the side would like to see better efforts from them in this game. The middle order is strong for the side and they would need partnerships from Ashleigh Gardner, Perry, and Nicole Bolton. They have good hitters of the ball lower down the order and runs would be expected from Maitlan Brown, Radha Yadav, and Angela Reakes.
It was a poor show with the new ball in the last game from Lauren Cheatle and Gardner were expensive in the last game and they would have to come up with a better show here. Perry who didn’t bowl in the last game would have an important role to play. Yadav and Nicole Bolton looked good. Maitlan Brown and Stella Campbell add good depth to the bowling unit for the side.

It would be slightly overcast over Perth on October 30, and bowlers are likely to enjoy these conditions. The batting conditions would be challenging as the ball is expected to bounce and move around. The side batting first in this game would be happy to put up 150 runs on the board.
Lilac Hill Park, Perth is a fast and lively wicket where fast bowlers have enjoyed good records in the past. The smaller size of the venue also allows plenty of run-scoring opportunities for the batters who do well once they get their eyes set in. It isn’t the best venue for the spinners as they have struggled to generate turn from this surface.
This will be the first game of the season at this venue, and we hope to see some juice on the surface that would make it tough for the batters early on in the game. Chasing scores here has been easy and hence the side winning the toss would have little hesitation in opting to bowl first in this game.
This would be a clash between two of the best sides in the tournament. Sydney Sixers Women have lost the last two games, and this would put them under pressure. They would have to bowl well in this game to win here. Melbourne Renegades Women have momentum on their side and had defeated Sixers earlier and this would put them nose ahead in this contest.
