Adam Zampa's side needs to strike form. They have struggled in the tournament and sit in seventh place on the points table with just two wins. In the last game, the side went down by 33 runs against Melbourne Renegades. Batting is a concern for the team, and Zampa would like a better show from his batsmen in this contest.  

Tom Rogers and Joe Clarke are having a poor tournament, and they must fire at the top for the side to do well. Marcus Stoinis is one of the best T20 players, and he must do well in the middle order with Beau Webster and Hilton Cartwright. Nick Larkin, Campbell Kellaway, and Nathan Coulter-Nile have to contribute with the bat for the side to win this game.  

Their bowlers will have a tough challenge, and the side will need early wickets from  Boult and Luke Wood. Zampa has been in good form and must lead from the front in this game. Nathan Coulter-Nile and Beau Webster shall have to deliver in the supporting role as they take on a solid line-up.

Moises Henriques's side witnessed its last game against Brisbane Heat washed away by rain. When the rain stopped the game, their opponents had a big score on the board. The Sixers have had a good season and sit second on the points table. Henriques would look for a second victory against the Stars, as they had defeated them comprehensively earlier in the tournament.  

Josh Phillippe and James Vince shall look to deliver a good start in the game, and both these players have scored runs. Daniel Huges, Moises Henriques, and Jordan Silk add firepower to the middle order. Daniel Christian, Ben Dwarshuis, and Hayden Kerr add to their batting strength down the order, and these players shall have to score runs in the game.  

On the bowling front, the side would need a good start from Ben Dwarshuis and Sean Abbott since they haven't been at their best. Steve O'Keefe has bowled well, and the side would look for good spells from him. Hayden Kerr and Chris Jordan add to the side's bowling strength.
