Jeet Raval and his men are short of match practice coming into this game with two rain washouts. It will be a cause of worry for the team. However, the side has looked good this season and has had key players in good form. The Knights' skipper would like his team to deliver a strong performance and book a berth in the Eliminator game.  

Katene Clarke has done well, and he will look to team up with Tim Seifert and set a solid platform at the top. Jeet Raval brings experience to this line-up, and he must do well in the middle order with Joe Carter and Henry Cooper. The side will also like to see good performances from Brett Hampton and Scott Kuggeleijn down the order.  

Neil Wagner and Scott Kuggeleijn shall have to use the early conditions, as their opponents have good hitters at the top. Frederick Walker, Joe Walker, and Kristian Clarke have done decent jobs this season, and the trio shall look to keep the score under check in the middle overs. The side has struggled with its support bowler, and Hampton must fit into that role.

Central Stags Preview

Tom Bruce's side went down by 4 wickets against the Otago Volts in the last game. This loss has ended their hopes of making it to the next round due to the poor run rate. They had defeated the Northern Knights earlier in the season, and the players would like to take inspiration from that win and finish the season on a high.  

Bayley Wiggins and Ben Smith have been inconsistent, and the pair must put up a good show at the start of the innings. Bruce and Will Young have been in good form, and the team will expect a good show from them. Josh Clarkson, William Clark, and Bevan Small make it a strong batting line-up.  

Their bowlers have been inconsistent since the start of the season, and the side will expect a good show from Brett Randell and Bevan Smith with the new ball. Raymond Toole and Ajaz Patel must bowl good spells in the middle overs. The team will also like to see Jayden Lennox and Bruce do well in the supporting role.

Seddon Park, Hamilton, offers assistance for the fast bowlers in the early overs of the game. However, it is a good batting surface where it is easy to score runs, with the outfield being lightning-fast. There isn't much assistance on this track for the spinners and they have struggled here in the past.
