Nepal will be looking get off to winning start when they take on Qatar in the 3rd game of ICC T20 World Cup Asian Regional Finals Qualifier in Singapore on Tuesday. Captain Paras Khadka will be hoping that the side can deliver a decent show with the bat and ball in this game.

On the other hand, Qatar suffered a 33-run defeat against Singapore in the opening game played on Monday at Indian Association Ground in Singapore. Captain Taimoor Sajjad will be hoping that side can learn from the mistakes and put on an improved show with bat and ball against Nepal.

In the batting department, the side will be relying heavily on the likes of Binod Bhandari, Sharad Vesawkar, and Dipendra Singh Airee to produce the bulk of the runs. The batting trio will need to deliver runs for the side in this opening game of the competition.

The side suffered defeat in their opening game of competition played against Singapore on Monday. Taimoor Sajjad-led unit will be looking to make a strong comeback against a formidable unit like Nepal.

For Qatar, the side will be relying on the likes of Faisal Javed Khan, Taimoor Sajjad and Muhammad Tanveer to produce the bulk of the runs with the bat. Faisal Javed produced quick-fire innings of 29 runs off 14 balls to help Qatar get off to a flying start. He failed to capitalize on his perfect start and departed in the fifth over of the innings. He will be looking to continue his good form with the bat in this game.

Taimoor Sajjad also produced decent innings and scored 34 runs off 29 balls with the help of two fours and two sixes. He was well supported by Muhammad Tanveer, who chipped in with 26 off 14 balls with the help of three sixes. Nouman Sarwar and Kamran Khan perished for single-digit scores in the previous game played against Singapore.

Wicket-keeper Muhammad Rizlan also produced valiant innings for the side in the previous game. He scored run-a-ball 33 with the help of three fours and a six. He will be looking to continue his decent form with the bat in this game.

In the bowling department, the side will be relying on the likes of Taimoor Sajjad, Nouman Sarwar, and Iqbal Hussain to provide crucial breakthroughs with the ball in hand. Medium-pacer Iqbal Hussain was the pick of the bowlers in the previous game against Singapore and picked up four wickets in his four-over spell. Nouman Sarwar also picked up two wickets against Singapore.
