North Mumbai Panthers started their season with a win in the first match by 6 runs. Teenage sensation Prithvi Shaw is their skipper this season. Their batting unit posted a mammoth score of 190 runs last match. Sairaj Patil and Karan Nande scored 46 and 50 runs respectively at a brisk strike rate of over 200+. Skipper Prithvi Shaw looked brilliant for his 12-ball 22 before being dismissed run out unluckily.

Their bowlers were not able to defend the target losing the match with a boundary of the last ball. Aditya Dhumal, Saksham Jha and Sujit Nayak were economical and amongst the wickets with their bowling. They had combined figures of 10-0-70-4. But, the rest of the bowling unit was unable to control the run rate leading to loss. They gave away 110 runs in their 10 overs and took a lone wicket.
