Warriors to win
Tournament: CSA T20 Challenge 2022 | Format: T20 | Venue: St George's Park Cricket Ground, Port Elizabeth, South Africa | Toss: To Bowl
Bet NowIt is the 6th game in the CSA T20 Challenge 2022, and it is expected to be a tight contest between Western Province and Warriors in the opening game. Both sides come here having won their first games of the season. Western Province defeated the Rocks in their first game while the Warriors snatched a win against the Titans.
Warriors have a very strong batting line-up, and they have more experience than their opponents which shall act as an advantage for the side. It would be interesting to see if the Western Province bowlers can repeat the show from the last game and register their second consecutive win.
Wayne Parnell couldn’t have asked for a better start to the season. Their bowlers did a great job to restrict the Rocks to a small total and the batsmen chased it down with relative ease. Parnell would like his players to continue with the same form in this game and register another impressive victory.
Richard Levi looks in good form and he would aim to set up a good opening wicket stand with Jonathan Bird. Gavin Kaplan, George Linde, and Dane Vilas add strength to the middle order and runs would be expected from them in this game. Parnell is a good hitter of the ball and he would aim to add quick runs with Aviwe Mgijima.
Beuran Hendricks and Linde bowled well in the last game, and they would look to bring their form into this contest. Tshepo Moreki leaked runs and he would aim for a better spell here. Parnell brings in lots of experience to this attack and he would aim to bowl tight lines with Junaid Dawood and Mihlali Mpongwana.

Sinethemba Qeshile would be proud of the efforts of his boys as they won the last game against the Titans by 8 runs. Despite a few missteps the side batted well and put up a good score on the board and defended it successfully. They would face a big challenge against Western Province who also looks in good form and Qeshile would like his players to deliver in this game
Matthew Breetzke and Wihan Lubbe played well in the last game and the side would need a similar start from them. Tristan Stubbs batted well but the rest of the middle-order collapsed. JJ Smuts and Diego Rosier will need to do well in this game. The side would also expect to see runs from the bats of Lesiba Ngoepe and Qeshile down the order.
Dane Paterson was expensive in the last game, and he would have to bowl tight lines sharing the new ball with Lubbe. Smuts and Tsepo Ndwandwa bowled well, and the side would have high expectations from him in the middle overs of the game. With Tiaan van Vuuren in the side they have good strength with the ball.

The skies over Port Elizabeth would be slightly cloudy on February 9. We expect the surface to be challenging for the batsmen and they would have to play a patient game. Bowlers would enjoy the conditions. The side batting first would be happy to get 170 runs on the board.
St George's Park, Port Elizabeth has been a good venue for the fast bowlers. There is bounce and carry on the track and batsmen have struggled against the new ball. Batsmen have to stick to the wicket to do well in this game.
In the past, we have seen most sides win games here bowling first. The wicket would have something for the bowlers at the start. The team winning the toss shall look to take advantage of the conditions and bowl first in this game.
Both sides have started the tournament on a promising note. Western Province bowlers did a good job in the last game but their batting line-up looks slightly rusty and they shall need to overcome this. Warriors on the other hand have a very strong batting line-up and this would put them nose ahead in the contest.
