New Zealand team came back strongly after their 4-1 ODI series defeat against India to win the T20I series 2-1. Now, they would look to beat Bangladeshi team to further strength their 2019 World cup plan. Kiwi batsmen did not have a good ODI sries and they struggled to maintain the momentum in most of the matches.

Captain Williamson and Ross Taylor scored some vital runs but were not to their usual best. Martin Guptill and Tom Latham must score more runs and take responsibility with the bat. Trent Boult had an excellent ODI series and he was well supported by Colin de GrandHomme and Matt Henry. Allrounder Mitchell Santner and Todd Astle are the spin options available in Squad.

Weather Conditions

McLean Park pitch is known to aid the bowlers at the start of the innings. Run scoring becomes easier as the match progresses. Average score in this pitch would be 270 -280 runs.

Toss: WIN the toss, BAT First

Teams batting second have more success in McLean Park than the team chasing the score. Batting becomes a bit more difficult under lights. And the setting sun sometimes strikes in the batsmen eye line here.

New Zealand despite their recent loss is a formidable team in their home conditions and it is very tough to beat them here. Bangladesh has an awful record at New Zealand. So we expect to New Zealand to win the match!
