Glenn Philips, Will Young, Finn Allen and Mark Chapman will form the core of the batting line-up in the absence of regular players.

Tim Southee will lead the T20I side with the likes of returning Lockie Ferguson, Adam Milne, and Hamish Bennett for company in the pace department. Ish Sodhi and Todd Astle are the spinners in the squad and will have a huge role to play in the T20Is.
