Oman would look to continue with its good form as they take on Bahrain in the 4th game of the Desert Cup T20I Series 2022. The hosts have started well and come here with a big win against Saudi Arabia. Bahrain was unlucky to have lost against Canada despite putting up a big score on the board.  

Bahrain has lost the last 5 T20 games it has played, and its bowling attack has let the side down. Oman is playing at home, and their players know these conditions well, which adds to the side's advantage. Zeeshan Maqsood's side has made a confident start to the tournament. They defeated Saudi Arabia by 9 wickets in a one-sided contest. The host did exceedingly well with the bowl, and their batsmen didn't drop any sweat chasing the small total. Maqsood would like his players to take inspiration from that win as they take on a much stronger side.   

Jatinder Singh and Kashyap Prajapati set up a big opening wicket partnership in the last game. A similar show shall be expected from them. In the middle order, they have good hitters of the ball in Shoaib Khan, Maqsood, and Mohammad Nadeem. Down the order, Ayaan Khan, Naseem Khushi, and Rafiullah M can score quick runs.  

Their bowlers did an excellent job in the last game, and the side shall expect a good show from Bilal Khan and Kaleemullah, who shared 5 wickets between them. Mohammad Nadeem and Rafiullah M would look to use the conditions well. Maqsood, Ayaan Khan, and Samay Srivastava make it a strong attack.

Sarfaraz Ali shall be extremely upset with his bowlers. They failed to defend a score of 195 runs in the last game against Canada. The 6-wicket loss would hurt the side as their batsmen had looked in good form in the last game. As they take on the hosts here, Ali would like better spells from his bowlers to register the first win of the season.  

Umer Toor and Sarfaraz Ali need to score runs in this game after they failed to make their mark in the last game. Imran Anwar and Sohail Ali played electrifying knocks, and the pair would look to add runs in the middle order with Ahmed Nasir. Haider Butt and David Mathias need to add to the score down the order.  

Their bowlers need to make a strong comeback in this game, and the side would need tight spells from Muhammad Rizwan and Shahid Mahmood with the new ball. Sathaiya Veerapathiran and Imran Anwar will have to stop the flow of runs in the middle overs. Sachin Kumar and Sarfaraz Ali have to do well in the supporting act.
