The ACC Mens Premier Cup 2023 has entered its most important stage, and the 17th game between Oman and Saudi Arabia will be an important one for both teams. Oman defeated Malaysia convincingly in the last game, and they will feel confident. Saudi Arabia's last game against Nepal was abandoned due to rain, and they still have a chance.
Saudi Arabia hasn't defeated Oman in the past. Though it won't matter in this game, it will still be on the players' minds. Oman's top order has done well in recent games, adding to the side's confidence. Saudi Arabia must punch above its weight to win this game, and it will be interesting to see if they are up for the task.
Zeeshan Maqsood's team comes into this game with an 8-wicket win against Malaysia. The side has won two out of three games, and they will look to book a berth in the next round with a win here. Their batsmen have done well, and Maqsood would like to cash in on this form and take his side to the semifinal.
Jatinder Singh scored a hundred in the last game, and he looks in good form. He will like to deliver a good start with Kashyap Prajapati. Maqsood is the team's most experienced batsman and needs to add runs with Shoaib Khan and Mohammad Nadeem. Ayaan Khan, Naseem Khushi, and Sandeep Goud add solidity to the batting down the order.
The bowling attack has done well in the tournament. Early wickets from Kaleemullah and Bilal Khan can put the side in a commanding position, and they will aim for that. Maqsood picked 4 wickets in the last game, and he must bowl good spells with Nadeem. Jay Odedra and Ayaan Khan add variety to this attack making it strong.

Hisham Sheikh and his men would be happy to have shared the points with Nepal in the last game after it was washed away by rain. It offers them a chance to make it to the next round. It will be a tough contest against Oman which has several experienced players. Sheik would like to see his players stick to their natural game and fight tough.
Abdul Waheed scored a hundred in their win against Qatar, and the side will need a good start from him and Waqar Ul Hassan. Saad Khan, Hisham Sheikh, and Abdul Manan Ali must do well in the middle order, as Oman has a strong attack. They will also need good performances from Imran Arif, Zain Ul Abidin, and Haseeb Ghafoor down the order.
The bowling attack will face a tough challenge in this game, and they need a good spell with the new ball from Atif Ur Rehman and Ishtiaq Ahmed. Hisham Sheikh and Imran Arif need to keep up the pressure in the middle overs. Waheed Baladraf and Zain Ul Abidin add to the side's bowling options.

Kirtipur will have partly clear skies on April 26. The track will be flat and allow batsmen to play their strokes. There will be a small margin of effort for the bowlers. The side batting first would need to target a score over 280 runs.
Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, has a good batting surface where batsmen enjoy playing their strokes. Fast bowlers have struggled on this surface in the past, given the conditions. Spinners have enjoyed bowling here as the ball grips and turns sharply.
The batting conditions have looked good at the start of every game. The conditions deteriorate in the second innings, and the ball stops on the batsmen. We expect a similar wicket in the next game; hence, the side winning the toss should be happy to bat first.
Saudi Arabia has done well and played to their best potential. But the side lacks experience, which can be a deciding factor at such an important juncture. They have never won against Oman in the past across formats. Oman has its openers in good form and an experienced batting line-up. It will make them favorites in this game.
