In the first ODI, Mohammad Rizwan was the standout performer with the bat and finished the innings with the top-score of 77 not out off 86 balls  with the help of six fours and one six. Besides Rizwan, Babar Azam showed excellent form and scored 66 runs off 82 balls with the help of five boundaries and one six.

In the bowling department, the onus will be on the likes of Naseem Shah, Usama Mir, Mohammad Wsim Jnr, Haris Rauf and Mohammad Nawaz to provide timely breakthroughs.

In the 1st ODI, Pacer Naseem Shah was the standout bowler on display for Pakistan and finished with figures of 5 for 57 in his ten overs.

In the batting department, the side will be relying on the likes of Finn Allen, Devon Conway, captain Kane Williamson, Glenn Phillips, Tom Latham and Michael Bracewell to deliver the bulk of the runs.

In the series opener, Michael Bracewell showed decent form with the bat and scored 43 runs off 42 balls. Besides Bracewell, wicket-keeper Tom Latham scored 42 runs off 52 balls with the help of three boundaries.

In the bowling department, the onus will be on the likes of Tim Southee, Henry Shipley, Mitchell Santner, Ish Sodhi and Michael Bracewell to provide timely breakthroughs.
