Pakistan cruised along easily in the small chase of 107 runs comfortably. Muneeba Ali and Iram Javed scored 18 runs identically albeit in contrasting fashions but were soon dismissed as they were struggling at 45/3. Bismah Mahroof (28 runs) and Nida Dar (32* runs) shared a 51-run partnership to cross the line in the chase.

Anam Amin set the tone of the match by dismissing both the Sri Lankan openers inside power play and finished with figures of 4-0-21-3. Tuba Hassan was almost unplayable as she kept pegging away wickets in middle overs with figures of 4-1-8-3 while Aiman Anwer chipped in with 2 crucial wickets. Fatima Sana and Nida Dar bowled economically to restrict the run flow effectively.

Sri Lankan`s batting never really picked momentum as they finished with just 106/8 in their 20 overs.  Madavi (25 runs), Anushka Sanjeewani (18 runs), and Nilakshi De Silva (25 runs) got starts but failed to convert them into a substantial one to help their post a big score on board.

Sugandika Kumari and Kavisha Dilhari picked up a wicket each and had combined figures of 8-0-36-2.
