Host Pakistan will face West Indies in the third and final T20I of the three-match series at the National Stadium in Karachi on Thursday.

The home team have secured an unassailable 2-0 lead after winning the first two matches by 63 and nine runs, respectively. Captain Babar Azam will be hoping that the side can continue their unbeaten run against West Inides. On the other hand, West Indies showed significant improvement in this game. Captain Nicholas Pooran will be hoping tha the side can break their winless streak.

After securing a series triumph in a rather comfortable manner, Pakistan will enter the third T20I with high confidence.

The management will be hoping that the players will conclude the series in the same manner as they’ve performed in the first two matches.

Since Thursday’s match will have no impact on the outcome of the series, the Men-in-Green are likely to test their bench strength and give some key players much-needed rest.

Leg-spinner Usman Qadir, pacers Shahnawaz Dahani, Mohammad Hasnain and Khushdil Shah are likely to come in place of Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shadab Khan and Fakhar Zaman.

However, one concern for the management will be once again the form of captain Babar Azam who failed in the second T20I as well. That failure meant that for the third time in T20Is, the right-hander went six innings without scoring a half-century.

The coaching staff will be hopeful that the star batter will regain his form ahead of the all-important three-match ODI series.
