There are predictions for cloudy skies and rains at Prague on June 13. This is likely to make batting a big challenge in this game. Bowlers would find early assistance with the new ball from the surface. The side that bats first would be targeting a score of around 100 runs to feel comfortable on this wicket.
It’s a small and beautiful park at the Vinor Cricket Ground, Prague. The pitch is lively and fast bowlers have always enjoyed bowling on this surface. The small size of the boundaries allows the batsmen to play their strokes freely. Spinners haven’t really done well at this venue in the past.
The weather conditions aren’t going to be conducive for batting and the pitch is also likely to offer seam and movement off the air. While batting first is usually preferred in this format of the game the skipper winning the toss is likely to opt for bowling first given the conditions.
The Bohemian Cricket Club would face a big challenge in their first game of the tournament as they are up against a strong opponent. The skipper would like his players to believe in their skills and deliver a strong performance as a unit. Prague Barbarians Visigoths are a better side on paper and have highly experienced players in their squad and this is likely to tilt the balance in their favor before the start of the game.
