It is Game 14 at the Czech Republic T10 Super Series, 2020 where the Prague CC Knights would be taking on in-form Prague Spartans Vanguards. Knights saw their opening game washed away by rain and lost the second one by 10 runs. The Prague Spartans Vanguards on the other hand have won both their games and booked a spot for themselves in the eliminator round.
This will be a must-win game for the Prague CC Knights if they are to keep their hopes alive for progressing in the tournament and they will have to play out of their skins to defeat the strong Vanguards. This format at times throws surprises and it remains to be seen if the Knights are able to surprise their stronger opponents.

It is a must win game for Sujith Gopalakrishnan’s team after the ordinary start on the opening day. Their game against Vinohrady Biancos was washed away and they lost against the Vinohrady Rossos due to poor bowling form. The side will need to recover from this mess and play to their full potential against a much stronger opponent.
The side needs a good start from openers Jinnu Panilet and Kasi Vishwanathan as the pair missed out in the opening day. Karthick Gopalakrishnan did well with the bat but rest of the batting failed to convert their starts. Naveen Padmarajum, Sujith Gopalakrishnan and Joseph Johnson will need to score in this game down the order.
Vijay Karthikeyan and Naveen Padmaraju bowled tight lines in the last game but rest of the bowling pack leaked runs leading to their defeat. The side will need economical bowling from Sone Neerolipadan, Johnson and Laxminarayanan Selvan if they are to contain the Vanguards.
Prague CC Knights Predicted Playing XI:
Sujith Gopalakrishnan (c & wk), Jinnu Panilet, Kasi Vishwanathan, Naveen Padmaraju, Karthick Gopalakrishnan, Joseph Johnson, Sone Neerolipadan, Laxminarayanan Selvan, Charles Croucher, Pavan Kumar Sunkara, Vijay Karthikeyan

Neeraj Tyagi’s side won both the games on the opening day. They started with a win against the Vinohrady Biancos whom they defeated comprehensively and they won a close game against the Vinohrady Rossos. This will give the side lot of confidence going into this game. Tyagi will want his side to carry on the same momentum into the next game.
Their opening combination of Kranthi Venkataswamy and Satyajit Sengupta are in good form and they will be looking to set up a good partnership at the top. They have quality hitters in the middle order with Prasanna Ganesan, Parth Bhalodiya and Vysakh Jagannivasan in the side and all these players have their range of strokes.
Neeraj Tyagi is leading from the front as far as their bowling attack is concerned and bowled well alongside Prasanna Ganesan. The duo would make it tough for the batsmen. The skipper would expect good show with the ball from Sengutpa, Farooq Shaik and Jagannivasan who will look to cut the flow of runs.
Prague Spartans Vanguards Predicted Playing XI:
Neeraj Tyagi (c), Satyajit Sengupta, Prasanna Ganesan, Farooq Shaik, Vysakh Jagannivasan, Kranthi Venkataswamy, Parth Bhalodiya, Santhosh Bemmireddy, Ghanshyam Kumar (wk), Suhaib Wani, Karthik Ekambaram
June 21 would be warm day at Velvary though the skies would be overcast which should come in aid of the bowlers. The track looks a good one to bat on where the ball is coming onto the bat nicely and allowing batsmen to free their arms. The side that bats first will need a score of at least 80 runs to feel safe on this wicket.
Velvary Cricket Ground is a small ground and this is one of the reasons batsmen have done well here as they are able to play the ball in the air without any hesitation. There is some assistance for the fast bowlers early on in the game but spinners haven’t found much success here.
Toss: To Bat
The pitch has played well at this venue so far and on the opening day the sides that batted first won all the games. This will act as a cue for both the captains at the toss and we believe the side winning it would have little hesitation in batting first on this surface.
This is a game between two sides that are in contrasting forms at the moment. The Prague CC Knights haven’t won a game yet and there would be lot of pressure on the side to win this one. Their bowling attack isn’t supporting that cause. Prague Spartans Vanguards were favorites in the group and they did well winning two games on the opening day. Their batting line-up is very strong and they will start as favorites in this game.
