00.0Tough challenge for Vinohrady Biancos against Prague CC Knights!
Prague CC Knights to win!
Tournament: Czech Super Series T10 League | Format: T10 | Venue: Velvary Cricket Ground, Velvary | Toss: To Bowl
Bet NowIt is the 9th match of the Czech Republic T10 Super Series, 2020, and the first for Group 2. Prague CC Knights would be taking on the Vinohrady Biancos in this game at the Velvary Cricket Ground, Velvary. Being the first game of the tournament both sides would be looking to start the tournament with a win.
In terms of relative strength, the Prague CC Knights are a powerhouse in local cricket and have players who have experience in playing tough cricket. This would somewhat give them the edge. Vinohrady Biancos are a new club with promising players and do possess a good batting line-up. It remains to be seen if they have the hunger to overcome the challenge from their stronger opponents.
Sujith Gopalakrishnan leads one of the strongest squads in Czech domestic cricket. The side did well in the recent Pro 40 tournament and has a good balance of batsmen as well as bowlers. The first game of this tournament would be an important one for the side and Gopalakrishnan would be looking to get the best out of his side.
The team has a strong top order with Sujith Gopalakrishnan leading from the front. He will be looking to build important partnerships alongside Naveen Padmaraju and Laxminarayan Selvan who have done well recently. They will need good support in the lower end from the likes of Pavan Kumar Sunkara and Jinnu Panilet to put up a good score on the board.
Bowling isn’t the strongest point for the side going into this game. Eswar Gopalakrishnan is the only recognizable bowlers for the side with some experience and needs to lead from the front. He will be looking for good support in the game from the likes of Charles Croucher and Dijo Vincent in this game.

Vojtech Hasa’s side is one of the upcoming teams in Czech cricket. They have a lot of promising young players and a few big names among their ranks. This creates pressure on the side as they take on a stronger opponent. Hasa would like his young players to rise up to the challenge in this game. The side would be looking to cash in on the strong batting line-up it has.
Michael Londosborough and John Corness at the top are known for their hard-hitting capabilities. Frederick Heydenrich is also a steady customer. The side will need to see good efforts down the order from the likes of Vojtech Hasa, Siddharth Sharma, and Vatsal Kansara to put up a big score on the board.
Vinohrady Bianco's bowling attack is slightly weak going into this game. Trinity Moyo and Benjamin Soucek are the only two bowlers of repute for the side and the onus would be on them to do well in this game. They will require good support from the likes of Lakshay Sharma and Ben Boulton Smith going into this contest.

It will be cloudy skies with chances of rains at Velvary on June 20 and this will make conditions challenging for the batsmen. The pitch is expected to see the oddball skid around. Given the conditions, any score above 80 runs would be a fighting total on this track.
Velvary Cricket Ground is a small ground with an artificially laid track. The track is two-paced and puts the batsmen in doubt but the smaller size of the boundaries allows the batsmen to free their arms without any fear. Fast bowlers have done well at this venue while spinners have struggled in the past.
Last week the sides chasing the scores had won more games. The weather conditions would be cloudy and the ground wet which will make it difficult for sides to set scores and hence we expect the side winning the toss to bowl first on this surface.
This will be the first game for both sides and hence there would be pressure on them. The Vinohrady Biancos are a young side and most of their players don’t have much experience in the shorter format of the game. The Prague CC Knights, on the other hand, are a very experienced side with seasoned players. It is expected to be a close contest but Knights would start ahead going into this game due to their experience.
