Bet NowIt has been a grand start to the T10 League 2021 on the opening day with the games going down to the wire. Pune Devils impressed in their first game of the season registering a big win against the Deccan Gladiator. The side would now be looking to carry this momentum into the 4th game where they meet the Qalandars who would be playing their first game here.
The Qalandars have several big names in their squad and shall look to make a positive start to the season. Most of their players have experience playing this format and this would be an added bonus for the team. The Devils having got a good start will battle it out fiercely in this game and we expect it to be a close contest.
Nasir Hossain would be pleased with the performance of his players in first game of the season. They 7-wicket victory in the game against Deccan Gladiators came on the back of an impressive show by their bowlers. Hossain would like his side to carry forward this momentum as they take on the Qalandars in the next game.
Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Kennar Lewis looked good at the top in the last game and they would need to keep up with the same pace. In the middle order the side has good firepower with Darwish Rasooli, Chadwick Walton and Asif Khan in the side. Hossain and Hardus Viljoen have good stroke making abilities and they would look to add quick runs towards the end.
Their bowlers impressed in the last game with Mohammad Amir and Hossain doing well opening the bowling for the side. Munis Ansari’s miserly spell turned the game in their favor and the same would be expected from him in this game as well. Karan KC and Viljoen would look to check the scoring rate in this game.

Shahid Afridi would be on the hot seat as he leads his side in this opening contest. They have retained some of the top performers from the last season and this will add to the side’s confidence in this game. Afridi would know that the Devils are in good form and want his players to enjoy themselves out there and play aggressive cricket.
Tom Banton and Asif Ali would look to provide a good start to the side here considering the strength that Devils have in their bowling attack. The middle order is strong with players like Ben Dunk, Shahid Afridi and Sultan Ahmed having their range of strokes. Samit Patel and Sharjeel Khan would be tasked with doing the big hitting towards the end.
With the new ball the side would expect Chris Jordan and Sohail Tanveer will have to pick early wickets. Azmatullah Omarzai would have lots of expectations around him and needs to do well along with the young Mohammad Taha. Afridi and Patel bring in lot of experience to this attack and they would have an important role to play in this game.

The skies would be clear and the conditions would be perfect at Abu Dhabi on January 29. The track was slightly on the slower side on the first day and batsmen who read the ball well can hit it out of the park. The side that bats first would have to target a score above 130 runs to feel safe.
It is a large park at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi but the fast outfield makes it easy for the batsmen to score boundaries. It is a tough venue for the fast bowlers with nothing for them on the surface. Spinners do well as the ball turns and the large size of the ground offers them some advantage.
On Day 1 we witnessed all the three games going in favor of the sides that chased the score. The slow pace of the wicket is making it tough for the sides to set a wicket. The two captains would have this in their minds at the toss and the one winning it shall in all likelihood aim to bowl first.
It will be the first game for the Qalandars and they would be under pressure to perform. Their batting line-up has big names but with the kind of bowling we saw from the Pune Devils in the last game it won’t be easy for them here. The Devils would be beaming with confidence and having got used to the conditions they would start slightly ahead in this contest.
