Paarl Rocks have scored consistently with the bat in both their matches with scores of 174 & 186. James Vince played his first match this season and made a superb 86 runs off just 53 balls. Openers Cameron Delport and Henry Davids played some attacking cameos to start the innings on a good note.

Skipper Faf Du Plessis was dismissed for a duck before James Vince took over the charge. Their bowling unit failed to defend a good total and took just 2 wickets in the entire match. Tabraiz Shamsi and Kerwin Mungroo took a wicket each but gave away more than 40+ runs in their 4 overs.

Bjorn Fortuin bowled economically but did not take any wickets in the match.

Henry Davids – Henry Davids provided a good start to their innings in both matches with scores of 38 & 30 respectively. But, he will be disappointed as he did not convert his starts into a big score.

Skipper Temba Bavuma and Reeza Hendricks have fared better with the bat scoring run consistently so far. Chris Gayle and Daniel Christian have failed miserably in the tournament and are yet to make a mark despite playing all 4 matches.
