Tournament: Abu Dhabi T10 League 2021 | Format: T10 | Venue: Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, UAE | Toss: To Bowl
Bet NowWe are in the final leg of the T10 League, 2021 and the Qalandars would be taking Team Abu Dhabi in the contest for the 3rd place. The Qalandars who had started well in the tournament lost against the same opposition in the 1st Eliminator by a big margin and they shall now be looking to avenge that loss. Team Abu Dhabi went down against the Northern Warriors in the 2nd Eliminator in a game that they should have won.
Qalandars seems to have peaked too early in the season as their performances in the last two games have left lot to be desired for. Their batsmen have struggled in both these games after great show earlier in the tournament. It would be interesting to see if Qalandars are able to bounce back and finish third in the tournament.
It has been a massive drop in form for the Qalandars and skipper Sohail Akhtar would be extremely upset with the performance of his side. They went down against Team Abu Dhabi in the last game by 6 wickets and now have to play for the 3rd place, a massive fall for the side that had started with five consecutive wins. Akhtar would now want to finish the tournament on a winning note.
Their batsmen have failed in the last two games and would need to do well. Tom Banton and Sharjeel Khan would be expected from them here. Akhtar has been among the top run scorers and would be tasked with making quick runs in company of Samit Patel and Ben Dunk. With Shahid Afridi down the order they have a very strong batting line-up.
With the ball the side did well although they didn’t have a big score to defend. Danyal Ahmed and Sohail Tanvir started well and a similar show would be expected from them here. Chris Jordan comes here after an impressive run and he would like to bowl tight spells in company of Patel, Afridi and Sultan Ahmed.

Luke Wright would be very upset with his bowlers after they allowed the Northern Warriors middle order to walk away with a win scoring 76 runs in the last five overs. They had the game in their bag only to have thrown it away losing it by 7 wickets in the end. Wright would like to put that away and focus on defeating the Qalandars like they had done in the 1st Eliminator.
Chris Gayle has been a big failure apart from his one innings and shall look to provide a good start here with in-form Paul Stirling. In the middle order Ben Duckett and Joe Clarke did well and they would have to score quick runs. With Jamie Overton, Wight and Najibullah Zadran to follow, their batting line-up has all the bases covered.
Tom Helm and Rohan Mustafa were expensive in the last game a good show with the ball would be expected from them. Obed McCoy has done well in most of the games and he would be tasked with keeping the scoring rate under check along with Naveen-ul Haq and Overton.

The skies would be clear over Abu Dhabi on February 06 and we would have a good contest on our hands. The pitch has slowed down and this is creating doubts in the minds of the batsmen. The side that bats first here would be happy to reach a score of 130 runs that can be defended with good bowling.
Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi is a large ground but it has very quick outfield and batsmen are able to score quick runs on this surface. Fast bowlers have struggled here as it isn’t the easiest of venues for them with low bounce and pace of the wicket. There is turn on offer for the spinners and they do well in this ground.
Chasing scores has been easy in this tournament if results are anything to go by. Sides batting first have managed to win games only on 6 occasions so far. It has been a great venue for chasing scores. Hence the side that wins the toss in this game would opt to bowl first in all likelihood.
It has been a so near yet so far scenario for the two teams as they play in this contest. They would have to put their loss in the last game behind to finish third in this edition of the tournament. The Qalandars have looked in poor form in the last two games and they’d need good support from their batsmen. Team Abu Dhabi has big hitters in the side and this would make them favorites here.
Our Prediction is for Team Abu Dhabi to win
