Royal Challengers Bangalore are having their worst ever start to the tournament losing five matches in a row and are yet to get their first win. Virat Kohli was clueless to Andre Russell`s rampage last match. Bangalore started the match in good fashion with Virat and AB De Villiers scoring their respective fifties and helping their team post a huge total of 205 runs. Parthiv patel and Marcus Stoinis played important cameos with the bat. Spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Pawan Negi bowled excellently and got a lot of turn from the pitch.

They both accounted for just 45 runs and 3 wickets in their 7.1 overs bowled. Navdeep Saini fared better than other fast bowlers and ended up with figures 4-0-34-2. Tim Southee, Mohammed Siraj and Marcus Stoinis were taken to the cleaners and they had combined match figures of 8-0-125-0. Tim Southee was taken for 29 runs in the penultimate over by Russell. Their catching was awful last match and add insult Siraj was suspended after bowling two waist high beamers. Umesh Yadav or Kulwant Keljoria may get a game in the playing XI next match. 

Delhi Capitals have lost their last two matches and are finding it tough to close the matches while chasing. Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan are giving good starts and Shreyas Iyer is scoring 20s and 30s. But they need to step up and score a big substantial score at the top. Rishab Pant may well enjoy batting in Bangalore than the slow track at Delhi. Colin Ingram, Chris Morris and Axar patel can give the score the boost in the death.

Spinners Axar patel and Sandeep Lamichchame are looking good and will look to get wickets. Kagiso Rabada and Chris Morris will be tested in this pitch which is bowler`s nightmare. Delhi Capitals will be looking to get wickets at the top to stop the strong RCB batting line-up.

Virat Kohli – Virat returned to form in a grand fashion with 84 runs off just 49 balls. Virat Kohli is a kind of batsmen who once gets going scores consistently and he is tough batsmen to stop for bowlers.

Navdeep Saini – Saini bowled with good pace and rhythm last match and he took the batsmen with surprise with his extra yard of pace. He consistently bowled in pace in higher 140s and took wickets of Sunil Narine and Dinesh Karthik.
