Tournament: Indian Premier League 2021 | Format: T20 | Venue: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai, UAE | Toss: To Bowl
Bet NowRCB and MI started off the second leg of the season in the top-half of the points table placed in a pretty good position. But, their campaign took a turmoil as both teams’ succumbed back-to-back defeats in their two matches played now. They need to get back to winning ways and end their struggles before their qualification chances take a huge hit. Mumbai are still sweating over the fitness of their premier all-rounder Hardik Pandya while RCB are struggling to find balance in their playing XI. And with their respective teams lead by Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma there is always no shortage of action.
RCB openers Virat Kohli (54 runs) and Devdutt Padikkal (70 runs) started off the match in superb fashion with their 100-run opening partnership with both scoring fifties. Their star studded middle order of Glenn Maxwell, Ab De Villiers, and Tim David failed to give them the required finish as they ended with just 156 runs in their 20 overs scoring just 25 runs in last 5 overs.
Yuzi Chahal looked threatening with the ball in middle overs with figures of 4-0-26-1 while Harshal Patel continued his hold on purple cap with 2 more wickets. Wanidu Hasaranga is still struggling to find his rhythm in the IPL. Kyle Jmaieson might return to playing XI in this match at the expense of Navdeep Saini.
Top players to bet on:
Devdutt Padikkal – Padikkal has scores of 22 & 70 in the two matches and has looked the most comfortable batsmen in the two matches. He will need to shift gears in the middle overs which seems to be an issue with him currently.
Yuzi Chahal – Chahal got good purchase from the surface in the last match with the ball gripping and turning but he gave away a few boundary balls in between some beautiful deliveries.

Rohit (33 runs) and Quinton De Kock (55 runs) gave a good start with 78-run opening partnership but once they were dismissed their famed middle order to SKY, Pollard, Ishan Kishan, and Krunal Pandya failed to make a big score. Hardik pandya is expected to return to playing XI in this match.
Pacers Adam Milne and Trent Boult were taken to the cleaners early in the match and Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets despite going for few runs. Spinners Rahul Chahar and Krunal Pandya were too taken for lot of runs and they are struggling to find the fifth bowler with Hardik Missing.
Top players to bet on:
Quinton De Kock – Kock started off both matches in an aggressive fashion in power play and scored 17 & 55 respectively. His ability to take on the pacers with field restrictions might upset the rhythm of any team.
Jasprit Bumrah – Bumrah has 5 wickets in the 2 matches but his economy rate of over 9 RPO is a bit of worry for their team. We expect him to pick more wickets in this match and bowl economically too.
Quinton de Kock (wk), Rohit Sharma (c), Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Saurabh Tiwary/Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya, Adam Milne, Rahul Chahar, Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult

Dubai will have hot and humid conditions with temperatures hitting mid-40s. Dew might come in the second innings of the match.
Dubai is a slightly double paced wicket with ball swinging and seaming a lot in the first 6 overs and Then batsmen finding it easier as the match progresses. The pitch might slow down in the second innings slightly. We expect an average score of 160-170 runs on this pitch.
Both teams will look to bowl first in this match as the dew might settle down in the second half of the match making life difficult for the bowlers to grip the ball.
Both teams have been struggling with the middle order despite the presence of the number of established players and Mumbai has a slightly better depth when compared to RCB. Mumbai relies heavily on their pace trio alongside Rahul Chahar while RCB will be keen to use two spinners alongside Siraj, Jamieson, and Harshal patel. The ability of bowlers to use their variations might become very important in this pitch and Bumrah and Harshal Patel have mastered the art so far. We expect Mumbai Indians to win this match owing to their all-round balance and depth in the squad.
