The team has been heavily reliant on the likes of Captain Ajinkya Rahane, Steven Smith and Sanju Samson to do the bulk of the scoring. The batting trio certainly delivered the goods with the bat for Rajasthan in the previous game played against Hyderabad.

Ajinkya Rahane played exceedingly well in the previous game and scored 39 off 34 balls to help Rajasthan get off to a good start in the chase. His opening partner, Liam Livingstone, produced a spectacular batting performance and scored 44 off 26 balls with the help of four fours and three sixes.
