On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings will be flying high after registering a comprehensive seven-wicket win against Kolkata Knight Riders in game played on Tuesday. 

In the batting department, the team will be depending on in-form players like Faf du Plessis, Suresh Raina and Shane Watson to provide the platform for the likes of hard-hitting MS Dhoni to go berserk at the back end of the innings. 

Faf du Plessis once again anchored the innings for Chennai Super Kings and scored unbeaten 43 off 45 balls with the help of three boundaries. His inclusion has certainly done wonders for Chennai in the last couple of games. Shane Watson, Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu chipped in with crucial scores to help Chennai chase down a paltry score of 109 runs posted by Kolkata Knight Riders for victory.

Surprisingly, captain MS Dhoni so far is Chennai Super King’s highest run getter in the tournament with 156 runs in six matches at an average of 46.66, whereas Raina has managed to score runs at an average of 32.50.

In the bowling department, the team is heavily dependent on the spin trio of Harbhajan Singh, Imran Tahir and Ravendra Jadeja, who so far has managed to claim 21 so far.  Deepak Chahar set the tone with new-ball for Chennai Super Kings and finished with three wickets to his name.
