After a lackluster performance in the first two games of the series, Sune Luus’ side made a strong comeback to the series with a 96-run win in the last game. They batted well and this would add to the side’s confidence as this had been a problem area for them. Having outplayed the visitors in the last game Luus would look for a series win here. 

Laura Wolvaardt hit a brilliant hundred in the last game, and she would look to add runs opening with Tazmin Brits. Luss has played well in the last two games, and she solidified the middle order with Anne Bosch and Mignon du Preez. Down the order, the side would expect to see runs from Chloe Tryon and Nadine de Klerk. 

Shabnim Ismail is doing well with the new ball, and he would look to bowl tight lines in the game along with Ayabonga Khaka. Nadine de Klerk and Raisibe Ntozakhe also come with their confidence high, and the side would like to see strong spells from them here. In Tryon and Luus the side has good variety in the attack.

Stafanie Taylor’s side has struggled with consistency over the last two years, and this came to haunt them in the last game. Having taken a lead in the series, the side played poorly in the last game. Taylor would want her players to bowl better lines in this game and earn their first series win on South African soil. 

Deandra Dottin has scored runs in this series and would need to deliver a good opening wicket stand with Rashada Williams. Kycia Knight scored runs in the last game and she would look to do the same with Hayley Matthews and Taylor in the middle order. Shemaine Campbelle, Aliyah Alleyne, and Chinelle Henry add punch to the batting line-up down the order. 

Shamilia Connell and Henry bowled well in the last game, and they shall have to inflict early wounds for the side to win this game. Shakera Selman is in good form, and she would have to keep the scoring under check in the middle overs. In Taylor, Anisa Mohammad, and Matthews they have depth in the batting line-up.

The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg is a batter’s paradise. The wicket is flat and the outfield lightning fast which allows batters to score runs easily. There is early assistance for the fast bowlers early. Spinners have struggled on this track as there isn’t much bounce for them.
