The Ruby Trichy Warriors would be taking on the defending champions and two-time title winners Chepauk Super Gillies at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. The two sides had topped the points table in the league stages, and it is befitting for them to play in the final.  

The two teams have already met twice in the season and on both occasions the Ruby Tricky Warriors have registered big wins. As they play in the finals for the first time, the Warriors would have their eyes set on the maiden title win. Rahil Shah would be confident walking into the final as it has been a perfect season for the side so far. They come here with four consecutive wins and had defeated the Chepauk Super Gillies by 5 wickets in the previous game. Shah would like his players to control their nerves in this high-pressure contest and make best use of their momentum. 

Amit Sathvik and Santosh Shiv missed out in the last game and the side would need a good start from them in this big game. Nidhish Rajagopal and Adithya Ganesh come with runs under their belt and shall look to make it count in this contest. The side would also like to see runs flowing from the bat of Muhammed Adnan Khan, Antony Dhas and Saravan Kumar as they would face a strong bowling attack. 

Their bowlers were expensive in the last game with Kumar and Sunil Sam leaking runs and the side can least afford this here. Shah and M Mathivannan will have to keep the scoring under check in the middle overs. However, the team would need good show from M Poiyamozhi and Dhas as they have often leaked runs.

The defending champions have made a commanding entry into the final winning the 2nd Qualifier game against Dindigul Dragons by 8 wickets. Skipper Kaushik Gandhi would like to lead his side to their third title. Having lost twice in the season to the Warriors, he would like to even it out in the game that matters the most. 

N Jagadeesan has had a wonderful season and the side would like a good start from him and Gandhi. The skipper played a match winning knock in the last game, and this would add to his confidence. Their middle order is formidable with S Radhakrishnan and Uthirasamy Sasidev looking good. Rajagopal Sathish, Harish Kumar and Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore shall look to do the big hitting down the order. 

Manimaran Siddharth has bowled tight lines and along with Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore features in the list of top wicket-takers for the season. The side would like to see a good show from them in this game. They have good depth in the bowling with Sonu Yadav, B Arun and Rajagopal Sathish in the side and tight spells would be expected from them in this game.

The skies over Chennai would clear on August 15 and the conditions are expected to be hot and humid during the game. The wicket here is expected to play well as we have seen big scores in the last few games. It is a big final and hence the side that bats first would be happy to put up 170 runs on the board.
