South Africa team has won the ODI series 3-0 in the first three matches and is looking to test their bench strength in dress rehearsal for the World cup. Despite their win, their batting order except Skipper Faf Du Plessis and Quinton de Kock has not been consistent and the batting order looks bleak short of runs.

Their middle order batsmen had scored 30s and 40s but are yet to convert them into a big score. Hashim Amla, JP Duminy and Aiden Markram will return to the playing XI. Andile Phehlukwayo and Dwayne Pretorius have been the preferred all rounder’s in this series and they had a good outing with the bat last match.

Lungi Ngidi and Kagiso Rabada are formly deadly pace bowling combo and are steaming up the crease right now. Imran Tahir has been in excellent form and has been amongst the wickets. Chinaman Tabraiz Shamsi is expected to partner him in middle over’s. Dale Steyn might a game to prove his effectiveness and fitness with the ball. 

When every team is working on their combinations and sorting out their best squad possible for world cup, Sri Lankan team is looking for a win after a long time in ODIs. Their problems seem to be unending with number of changes to players in squad. 

New comers Avishka Fernando and Oshado Fernando has been scoring runs in 20s and 30s, but they need to step up and play a big innings. Senior players Niroshan Dickwella, Kusal Mendis and Thisara Perera need to step up and score some runs. Lasith Malinga has a lot of questions to answer including his form with the ball. Kasun Rajitha and Isuru Udana are very erratic and are leaking runs at a very high run rate. Akila Dananjaya will be joined by Debutant Kamindu Mendis in the spin bowling department. Kusal Perera is not available for the series after his recent injury last match.
