The fourth match of the T20 Mumbai League will have SoBo Mumbai Falcons take on Arcs Andheri at Wankhede Stadium.
SoBo Mumbai Falcons enter the 2026 campaign as one of the most consistent teams in the league’s short history. Runners-up in 2025 after a heartbreaking five-wicket defeat to MSC Maratha Royals in the final, the Falcons topped the group stage with four wins in five matches, their only defeat coming at the hands of Eagle Thane Strikers. Under the captaincy of India’s middle-order mainstay Shreyas Iyer, the Falcons have retained their core while making strategic additions to launch another serious title challenge.
Arcs Andheri, on the other hand, endured a more difficult 2025 season, finishing at the bottom with just one win from five matches in the group stage. The franchise has responded with a significant overhaul, securing the services of power-hitter Shivam Dube as their Icon Player and bringing in several high-profile acquisitions at the auction.

SoBo Mumbai Falcons Won the Super Over
The Falcons were runners-up in 2025, having fallen to the Maratha Royals in the final by five wickets after coming agonisingly close across a campaign that saw them win four of five league matches.
The Falcons' biggest move at auction was securing Akash Parkar. That investment is fully justified. The 31-year-old was the standout all-rounder of the 2025 tournament, finishing with seven wickets in as many matches at an average of 16.43 and an economy of 7.11, while also scoring cameos at the death that repeatedly rescued the Falcons in tight chases. His three-wicket haul, followed by a match-winning 32 off 20 balls in the semifinal against Bandra Blasters, was the performance of the tournament.
The batting is built around captain Shreyas Iyer at the top and Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who keeps wicket and opens the batting with authority. Across 50 T20 appearances, Raghuvanshi has scored 1156 runs at a strike rate of 138, and has continued to grow since his IPL breakthrough with KKR. Mayuresh Tandel and Harsh Aghav showed their quality in the final itself, sharing an unbeaten partnership that pushed the Falcons to 157 on a demanding surface. Ishan Mulchandani is another reliable operator at the top, having struck an unbeaten 52 in the semifinal.
The bowling has depth too, with Siddharth Raut and Yash Dicholkar providing pace support to Parkar. Iyer ended 2025 with just 62 runs in five innings with a best of 25, a persistent concern for a side that needs its captain to perform. If he fires in Season 4, this squad has every ingredient of a champion.

After a poor last season, ARCS Andheri made the most aggressive moves at the auction, picking up Musheer Khan, Arjun Tendulkar, and Prasad Pawar, three players who dramatically raise the ceiling of a squad that already had genuine quality in the form of Icon Player Shivam Dube. In 2025, the side finished last in the standings, winning just one of five league matches. This year, the additions suggest the management believes they have what it takes to go further.
The batting is headlined by Dube, whose destructive hitting in the middle and death overs is a weapon few sides in this competition can match. He was India’s ace in their recent T20 World Cup triumph, producing influential knocks of 43 runs off 25 balls in the semi-finals versus England and following it up with 26 not out off 8 balls against New Zealand in the final.
21-year-old Musheer Khan is rapidly developing into one of Mumbai's most watchable batting talents. Prasad Pawar was Andheri's standout batter in 2025, anchoring the innings with a 70 off 46 balls against Maratha Royals, and he returns as the reliable backbone of this lineup.
The bowling has been strengthened by the acquisition of Arjun Tendulkar. The 26-year-old left-arm pacer has taken 35 wickets from 29 T20 matches and is getting quicker every season, with yorker making him genuinely hard to play. He is supported by retained pacers Deepak Shetty, who was the joint highest wicket-taker for Andheri in the 2019 season with 10 wickets from seven matches, and Pragnesh Kanpillewar, who bowled with excellent control against Maratha Royals in 2025. Off-spinner Himanshu Singh, who has taken 18 first-class wickets at an average of 19.94, adds a spin option through the middle overs.

The forecast for Mumbai on Tuesday afternoon is generally favourable for cricket. Temperatures are expected to be around 30-32°C (86-90°F) at the start of play, dropping to approximately 27-29°C (81-84°F) by the close. Humidity levels will be moderate, with minimal chances of rainfall predicted. The skies are expected to remain mostly clear, with good visibility throughout the match window. Light sea breezes from the Arabian Sea may assist swing bowlers in the early overs, but overall conditions are ideal for a full, uninterrupted contest.

Runs are usually on offer at Wankhede, which has built a reputation as one of the better batting venues in the country. The average first-innings score at the venue this IPL was 220, giving an indication of how great it is for batting currently.
The pitch generally provides even bounce and good carry, allowing batters to trust the surface and play their strokes. Shorter square boundaries add to the scoring opportunities and reward players who can find the gaps regularly. Fast bowlers may get some assistance early on through swing, especially when the sea breeze is a factor, which puts extra focus on the powerplay before batting conditions ease further as the innings progresses.
The match is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM IST at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. Historical data from 132 domestic T20 matches at this venue reveals a clear chasing trend: teams batting second have won 72 matches compared to 60 won by the team batting first. With the evening conditions offering dew, the captain who wins the toss is likely to opt to bowl first, trusting their batting depth to chase down any target on a surface where run-scoring becomes easier as the innings progresses.
The only completed meeting between these two sides in 2025 ended in a tie, with SoBo Mumbai Falcons winning the Super Over by 14 runs, thanks to Akash Parkar blasting 27 off six balls when it mattered most. That ability to produce in the clutch is precisely what separates these two sides.
The Falcons finished second in the 2025 standings with four wins from five matches and a positive NRR of +0.691, while Andheri finished last. The gap in consistency across that campaign was significant, and while Andheri's squad additions this season are exciting, they bring question marks too. Arjun Tendulkar is still developing, Musheer Khan is unproven at this level under knockout pressure, and their batting beyond Dube and Pawar has wobbled in big moments before.
The Falcons, by contrast, carry the confidence of a side that reached last year's final. Shreyas Iyer knows what it takes to win at Wankhede, and Akash Parkar, the highest-priced men's signing at this season's auction, has proven he delivers when the pressure is highest. If Iyer fires alongside Raghuvanshi at the top, the Falcons have the firepower to coast to a comfortable win.
