Anya Shrubsole’s side has been brilliant right from the start. The side played to perfection in the last game against the Northern Superchargers which was decided by the DLS method winning it by 7 wickets. They are through to the next round and shall look to directly qualify for the final with a win here. 

Danielle Wyatt and Smriti Mandhana form a strong opening pair and the side would like to see a good show from them in this game. In the middle order Stafanie Taylor and Sophia Dunkley have been consistent, and they would be eager to stamp their authority. The side has good strength down the order with Maia Boucher, Amanda Wellington, and Anya Shrubsole in the team. 

Anya Shrubsole and Lauren Bell bowled well in the last game, and they would look to trouble the Welsh Fire Women who have been struggling for form. Tara Norris made a good start to the season in the last game and adds to the bowling strength for the team. They would also like to see tight lines from Amanda Wellington, Taylor and Fi Morris.

Sophie Luff’s comes here with yet another loss and one by a big margin. The side went down by 10 wickets against Birmingham Phoenix Women in the last game where their bowling attack was blown apart. They have a bigger challenge on hand in this game and Luff would like her players to start with a positive bent of mind. 

Bryony Smith did well in the last game, and this would give some relief to the side. She must provide a good start in company of in-form Hayley Matthews. The middle order will have to deliver in this game against a strong bowling attack and runs would be expected from Sarah Taylor, Georgia Redmayne and Luff. Georgia Hennessy and Alice Macleod will also have to bowl tighter lines here. 

Piepa Cleary and Bryony Smith fared poorly in the last game and being the strike bowlers for the side they need to deliver here. In Hayley Matthew and Nicole Harvey, they have good experience in the attack and this game would test their character. Hennessy and Hannah Baker shall have to come up with tight spells in the game.

The Rose Bowl, Southampton is a good surface to bowl especially with the new ball as there is swing and seam movement on offer. Batters can play their strokes once they get their eyes set in on the surface. It is a difficult wicket for the spinners as there isn’t much turn on offer from the surface.
