Shivaji Park Lions play their first match of MPL 2019 against ARCS Andheri. Shivaji park Lions are lead by the Mumbai local player Siddhesh Lad. He is the fulcrum of their batting unit along with Swapnil Pradham and Rudra Dhandey. They have a variety of all-rounders in their team with the likes of Shivam Dubey, Arun Yadav and Tanush Kotian.

Nikhil Patil and Sachin Yadav are the wicket keepers available in the squad. They have a very inexperienced bowling line-up with new faces and young talents. Their bowling has been their biggest worry with bowlers not able to take wickets. Their bowling unit has just 4 wickets in two matches to their name. Tushar Deshpande took two crucial wickets of the openers in the powerplay the last match and that has been the one point of high for their bowling unit so far.

Siddhesh Lad – Siddhesh Lad is the Mumbai Skipper for the Ranji team and he is an excellent batsman who can play classy cricketing shots. He made his IPL debut this season and performed reasonably well in his lone opportunity.  

Shivam Dubey – Dubey came into the IPL with a big reputation and hopes due to his all-round capabilities in the domestic circuit. But he was not up to the mark and will be looking to set his record straight in the MPL this season.
