Trinbago Knight Riders to win
Tournament: Caribbean Premier League T20 2021 | Format: T20 | Venue: Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts | Toss: To Bat
Bet NowTrinbago Knight Riders would like to even it out as they take on the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the 30th game of the Caribbean Premier League 2021. The two sides had met in the previous game where the Patriots had walked way with an easy win. The Knight Riders had underperformed in the game, and this is something they would look to improve upon here.
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots have regained form after three consecutive losses with their top order looking good after the last game. But this won’t be an easy outing given the kind for performances the Knight Riders have put up in the last few games. With the best two sides in the tournament taking on each other we expect to see a cracker of a contest.
Dwayne Bravo’s return as skipper has reignited the side as they defeated the Trinbago Knight Riders confidently by 8 wickets to book their place in the semifinals. This win came after three consecutive losses. As they take on the same team in the final league game Bravo would like his side to win here and build momentum ahead of the semifinal.
Evin Lewis struck a magnificent hundred in the last game and along with Chris Gayle shall look to provide the side with a good start. In the middle order Sherfane Rutherford, Devon Thomas and Ravi Bopara shall look to build partnerships. They would look to create a platform for Dwayne Bravo and Fabian Allen to do the big hitting in the final overs of the game.
Sheldon Cottrell and Naseem Shah bowled well in the last game and similar spells would be expected from them with the new ball. Dominic Drakes and Jon-Russ Jaggesar picked three wickets each and this would add to their confidence. With Fabian Allen and Gayle in the mix the side has a good bowling attack going into this game.

Kieron Pollard would be upset with the performance of his bowlers in the last game as they failed to defend a good score. They were all over the place and never put the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots batsmen under pressure in the game. As his side takes on the same opponent in this game, Pollard would seek a confidence boosting win ahead of the semifinal.
Lendl Simmons and Denesh Ramdin went out cheaply in the last game and the side would be expecting a better show from them here. This has been one of the major problems for the side throughout the tournament. Colin Munro is playing well and needs to set up partnerships with Pollard and Darren Bravo. In Tim Seifert and Sunil Narine the side has good hitters of the ball down the order to push them up to a big score in this game.
Sunil Narine bowled exceptionally well in the last game but there was no support for him from the other end. Ravi Rampaul and Anderson Phillip shall have to bowl better lines in this game. Akeal Hosein and Pollard were experience in the last game and they need to do well in the middle overs. Better spells would also be expected from Yasir Shah.

The weather would be cloudy and there are good chances of rains during this game at St Kills. The surface has been a good one to bat on where lots of runs have been scored. Bowlers are finding it hard to score runs here. The side batting first in this game shall aim to put up 170 runs on the board.
Warner Park, St Kitts has historically been a good venue to bat on as the wicket here is flat and outfield fast. Batsmen can play on the rise and fast bowlers have usually struggled on this track. It has been a happy hunting ground for the spinners as the ball can take sharp turn on this wicket.
There is little on this surface for the bowlers as the wicket has gone flat and in most of the recent games played, we have seen the sides put up big totals on the board. The side that wins the toss in this game should have no hesitation in batting first.
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots come here with their confidence high. But it is the bowling attack that is yet to shine for the side, and they have allowed opponents to put up big scores against them. This would likely be a problem for them against the Knight Riders. The Knight Riders have a very powerful batting line-up and lot of experience in the squad. This would put them slightly ahead of the Patriots in this game.
