Chamari Athapaththu would be extremely upset with the loss in the last game. They had started positively with a good partnership but suffered a batting collapse from thereon to finish 20 runs short of what would have been a competitive total. Having already surrendered the series to the visitors the Sri Lankan skipper would look forward to a win to regain confidence.  

Chamari Athapaththu and Vishmi Gunaratne set up an 87-run opening wicket stand in the last game and the pair would need to come up with a similar show. The middle-order has looked rusty, and the likes of Harshitha Madavi and Nilakshi de Silva shall have to do well and build partnerships with Kavisha Dilhari. Hasini Perera and Anushka Sanjeewani must play good knocks down the order for the side to be in a comfortable position.  

Udeshika Prabodhani leaked runs in the last game and she must do well opening the bowling with Oshadi Ranasinghe. Sugandika Kumari has bowled well in both games and the side would like to see a strong performance from her. Inoka Ranaweera, Dilhari, and Athapaththu shall have to deliver in the supporting role for the side to win this game.

Harmanpreet Kaur would be happy to have won the series in two straight games. They had started as favorites here and have lived up to their reputation. The bowling attack has done well in both the games, but the Indian skipper would like to see better efforts from her batters as they have been throwing it away with poor shot selection.  

Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma started well in the last game and the side would need a good show from them at the top. Sabbhineni Meghana must convert her start in this game and add runs in the middle order with Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues. They have good hitters of the ball in Yastika Bhatia and Deepti Sharma and the duo would look to do the big-hitting in this game.  

Renuka Singh and Deepti Sharma shall have to offer a good start to the side with the new ball as Sri Lanka’s batting strength is with their openers. Radha Yadav and Vastrakar have looked good in both games, and they would look to dry the scoring rate in the middle overs. Simran Bahadur and Kaur add variety to this attack making it strong.

Batters would struggle here and have to play to the merit of the ball. A score above 140 runs would be good on this wicket for the side batting first.

Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla is a challenging wicket and we have seen batters struggle on this surface. They have to accumulate runs instead of pushing at the ball. Fast bowlers don’t see any assistance from the surface. Spinners have done well here as the ball stops on the batters and creates doubts in their minds.
