Sri Lankan Women will be high on confidence after a respectable victory against the Netherlands Women. Skipper Chamari Athapaththu is having a great time in Harare. She scored 41 runs in the warm-up game against USA Women followed by a blistering hundred against Netherlands Women in the first game. In the classy innings of 111 runs off 70 balls, Athapaththu hit 11 fours and 5 sixes. Her strike rate of more than 150 will prove vital against WI Women to pace the Lankan innings in the beginning.

The SL Women team’s middle-order has been great so far. The addition of Ama Kanchana can provide some quick runs in the middle and support the reliable Nilakshi de Silva. Pacer Oshadi Ranasinghe will lead the bowling attack with left-arm spinner Inoka Ranaweera The duo took 5 wickets in the middle overs with an aggregated economy of 3.65.
