The Super Gillies come here after a loss against the Nellai Royal Kings where most of their batsmen failed to occupy the crease. Daryl Ferrario’s side did well in the last game against the IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans. Batting first they put up a good score on the board and defended it successfully. Most of their batsmen got starts in the game but the skipper would like to see them convert these into big scores in this game. 

KH Gopinath and S Abhishek started the innings well in the last game, but the side would expect a solid opening wicket stand from them in this game. The middle order is looking rock solid with Akshay Srinivasan, Vijay Shankar and Ferrario scoring runs in the last game. The side would also look forward to big hits towards the end from the likes of U Sushil and Ravi Karthikeyan.

G Periyaswamy bowled miserly in the last game and along with the experienced Murugan Ashwin, he would look to contain the flow of runs. Shankar and M Ganesh Moorthi need to come up with better efforts with the new ball as they leaked runs in the last game. The likes of B Praanesh and Karthikeyan add to the bowling options for the side.

It was a one-man show for Kaushik Gandhi’s side in the last game against the Nellai Royal Kings which they lost by 7 wickets.  N Jagadeesan did extremely well with the bat but there was hardly any support for him from the other end. Gandhi would want to see all-round efforts from his side here as they look for their first win of the season. 

N Jagadeesan looked brilliant, but he would need good support from Gandhi opening the batting for the side. S Sujay and Rajagopal Sathish missed out in the last game, and they need to add to the score here. The side has good depth in the batting and shall expect big hits from the bat of Uthirasamy Sasidev and Sonu Yadav in this game. 

Rajagopal Sathish is having a good tournament and he would have to get early breakthroughs for the side sharing the new ball with Dev Rahul. R Alexander, Sonu Yadav and Jaganath Sinivas went for runs in the last game and they have an important role to play here. Harish Kumar and Manimaran Siddharth need to play good supporting role for the side to win.
