Bet NowSunrisers Hyderabad is in a tight corner as they take on the Delhi Capitals in the 47th game of the IPL 2020. The Sunrisers come into this game after a loss against the Kings XI Punjab which has made their chances of making it to the next round extremely difficult. For Delhi Capitals it has been a great season so far but the side lost the last two games where their form has dipped. It was a massive loss for them in the last game against Kolkata Knight Riders and they would be looking to recover from it.
Sunrisers Hyderabad has been unlucky to have dealt with injuries to their key bowlers and this has made it difficult for them to find the right combination of eleven players. Their batsmen have been inconsistent which has added to their problem. Delhi Capitals are likely to come hard at them in this game after two consecutive losses and it remains to be seen if the team from Hyderabad is able to match up to the challenge and hold on to their chances of a berth in the playoffs.
David Warner’s side is in a tight spot at the moment and they have lost nearly all hopes of making it to the next round after their 12-run loss to the Kings XI Punjab in the last game. There is still a technical possibility for the side to make it to the playoffs and this would require a big win in this game. Having won against Delhi Capitals earlier in the season Warner would want his side to draw inspiration from that victory.
It was a poor show by the side with the bat in the last game where they managed only 114 runs. They would need a strong start from David Warner and Jonny Bairstow. In the middle order Manish Pandey, Adbul Samad and Vijay Shankar have failed in the last few games and the side would need good partnerships from them. Priyam Garg and Jason Holder have the ability to strike the ball huge distances and their skills would be put to test in this game.
Khaleel Ahmed and Sandeep Sharma will have to strike early with the new ball given the strength Delhi Capitals has in its top order. Rashid Khan has had an incredible season with the ball and will have to keep the opponents quite during the middle overs. T Natarajan and Jason Holder will have to restrict the flow of runs as the Delhi Capitals batsmen would come hard at them.

Top Bowler – Rashid Khan

Back to back losses has suddenly come as a wakeup call for Shreyas Iyer’s side. They lost the last game to Kolkata Knight Riders by 59 runs in what was a poor effort with the bat. They had dominated the earlier part of the season and shall need to get back to form having nearly booked a place in the next round. Having lost to Sunrisers earlier, the side shall look to avenge it in this game.
Shikhar Dhawan has already made two hundreds this season and shall look to provide a good start alongside Ajinkya Rahane. In Iyer they have a consistent performer in the middle order and he will look to steer the innings in company of Rishab Pant. The side has good hitters to follow in Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis and Axar Patel. They will look to dominate Hyderabad’s weak bowling attack.
Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje have been brilliant with the ball and they have hunted as a pair this season. Rest of the bowling pack has been inconsistent and this is one area that the side will need to improve. Tushar Deshpande has been expensive and he needs to do well with the new ball. Ravichandran Ashwin has been ineffective so far and he needs to check his line in the middle overs along with Patel and Stoinis.
Best Batsman – Shikhar Dhawan
Best Bowler – Kagiso Rabada

It would be clear skies over Dubai on October 27 and the conditions would be hot and humid here. The pitch is playing well for the batsmen and we have seen lots of runs being scored here in the last few games. Batsmen can easily play the ball on the up and the side batting first would have to target a score in the range of 180 runs to defend it successfully.
Dubai International Cricket Stadium is biggest of all the three venues in UAE and the large boundaries balance it out between the batsmen and the bowlers. Clearing the boundary is challenging but the fast outfield allows lots of scoring opportunities. Spinners love bowling on this surface while the fast bowlers who have variety up their sleeves have done well here.
The track has been flat in the last few games and we haven’t seen much of variations in the conditions in the second innings. Lots of runs have been scored by the side that has batted first and hence we foresee the side winning the toss to bat first and aim at putting up a big score on the board.
Sunrisers Hyderabad is feeling the heat after a string of ordinary performances in the season. They have to win this game by a huge margin to be technically eligible for the next round and this is likely to put additional pressure on the side. The Delhi Capitals would be looking to bounce back after the poor show in the last two games. They have a strong batting line-up that has destroyed opposition bowling attacks and this would make them favorites against Hyderabad’s weak bowling unit.
