Bet NowThe biggest league in the cricketing arena the Indian Premier League is up and running to mark the grand return of cricket. IPL is earmarked as the template to follow for the big ICC events coming up in the near future in the pandemic situation. Virat Kohli, the Indian Skipper is expected to take the field for the first time since the pandemic against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Both teams have heavy top-order and rely heavily on them to score big runs. Both teams will look to start off their campaign with a win in this match.
Bangalore has one of the strongest top order with the likes of Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli, and Ab De Villiers in their top-4. Moeen Ali and Shivam Dube are expected to take up the role of finishing the games in the lower order. Washington Sundar, Chris Morris, and Umesh Yadav might also contribute with some hefty blows.
They have strong pace contingent with the likes of Chris Morris, Dale Steyn, Navdeep Saini, Umesh Yadav, and Mohammed Siraj. The spin department has leg spinners Yuzi Chahal, and Adam Zampa alongside offie Washington Sundar. RCB will look to add both leggies in the latter stages of the match but not in early stages for sure.
Top players to bet on:
Virat Kohli – Virat Kohli cannot be neglected in any format, any ground, any conditions owing to his batting over the last 4-5 years. He has scored runs at unbelievable consistency and we expect no less from the Indian skipper in this season too.
Yuzi Chahal – Chahal has rised up the ranks to be the No.1 spinner for Indian team in the limited overs cricket. He is a stalwart for the RCB team in the spin department for many years and will continue to do so.
Virat Kohli (C), Parthiv Patel (Wk), Aaron Finch, AB De Villiers, Moeen Ali, Shivam Dube, Chris Morris, Washington Sundar, Yuzi Chahal, Navdeep Saini, Umesh Yadav
Vijay Shankar, T Natarajan, Jonny Bairstow, Manish Pandey, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan, S Sharma, Mitchell Marsh, David Warner, Priyam Garg, Abhishek Sharma
David Warner and Kane Williamson have topped the batting charts in last three IPL seasons. Johnny Bairstow is in great form from the recent ODI series against Australia. Their middle order looks a little weak barring Manish Pandey with the likes of Vijay Shankar and Abhishek Sharma only in the playing XI.
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar will lead the bowling attack with his Indian Counterparts Basil thampi, Khaleel Ahmed, Sandeep Sharma, and Siddharth Kaul for company. 3 top-order foreign players at top means only Rashid Khan can be accommodated in the spin department. Mohammed Nabi will wait for hi opportunity to showcase his all-round skills.
Top players to bet on:
Johnny Bairstow – Bairstow scored 83 & 112 in the three ODI matches in tough conditions in the ODI matches against Australia. These knocks will give him a confidence with the bat and he will match ready compared to other players who are playing after a long time.
Rashid Khan – Rashid was not up to his standard in the CPL 2020 recently. He will look shrug off his rustiness and bowl with more control and accuracy this IPL.
David Warner (C), Johnny Bairstow (Wk), Kane Williamson, Manish Pandey, Vijay Shankar, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed, Rashid Khan, Abhishek Sharma, Siddharth Kaul, Shahbaz Nadeem
YS Chahal, AB de Villiers, Devdutt Padikal, Aaron Finch, Washington Sundar, NA Saini, Dale Steyn, Virat Kohli, Umesh Yadav, Josh Philippe, Shivam Dube
Dubai has a hot and humid weather with no chances of rain. We can expect dew to play a big role in the latter stages of the match.
The pitch at Dubai will aid the sinners to a great extent and we can expect average scores in the range of 140-160 runs. Any score above 170 will be considered par and will be hard to chase.
Chasing is the best option in T20 matches with dew expected in the second innings especially. Batsmen can time their innings to chase down the target here.
Both teams rely on their top-order to make the runs but RCB has a slightly better lower middle order when compared to SRH. SRH has a strong Indian group in the pace attack who could use their variations but lacks depth in depth department barring Rashid and Nabi. RCB will have a good rounded pace and spin attack and the death bowling has been their biggest issue every season. We expect RCB to win this match owing to their better combination in playing XI.
RCB will win the match
