Deccan Gladiators to win
Tournament: Abu Dhabi T10 League 2021-22 | Format: T10 | Venue: Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, UAE | Toss: To Bowl
Bet NowIt will be a battle of nerves in the 6th game of Abu Dhabi T10 League, 2021-22 where Team Abu Dhabi would take on the Deccan Gladiators. Both sides come into this game with wins under their belt. Team Abu Dhabi defeated the Northern Warriors in the last game while the Deccan Gladiators started the tournament with a win against The Chennai Braves.
Team Abu Dhabi would feel the heat in this game as they have never defeated the Deccan Gladiators in the past. The Gladiators have made a commanding start to the tournament and their batting is looking in great shape. Both the sides have powerful batting line-ups and we should have a close contest on our hands where there would be plenty of fireworks.
It has been an excellent start to the tournament for Liam Livingstone’s side. They have won both their games so far and look in good form. The side defeated the Northern Warriors by 21 runs in their last game where their batsmen and bowlers played complementary roles. This game against the Gladiators would be a tough one but Livingstone would trust his players to deliver the goods.
Phillip Salt and Paul Stirling have both scored runs in the last two games and they would look to provide a good start here. Chris Gayle has looked good, and he adds solidity to the line-up with Livingstone and Colin Ingram. The side would also expect runs down the order from Jamie Overton and Marchant de Lange in this game.
Marchant de Lange has shown excellent form with the ball and he would look to strike early with Fidel Edwards who went for runs in the last game. Jamie Overton would have to check his lines in this game. Danny Briggs, Livingstone, and Naveen-ul Haq also need to bowl in the right areas as they would bowl against a power-packed batting line-up.

Wahab Riaz’s side has made the start they had been looking for. They come here with a 24-run win against The Chennai Braves in their opening game. Their batsmen are looking in excellent form and Riaz would like to see improved bowling in this game as most of his bowlers looked a bit rusty in the last game.
Tom Banton and Tom Kohler-Cadmore are good hitters of the ball, and they would aim at a good start to this game. Anwar Ali failed to convert his side and shall look to do well here with Tom Moores and Andre Russell who were brilliant in the last game. David Wiese, Riaz, and Odean Smith add depth to this batting line-up and shall make the side confident.
Riaz bowled well in the last game, but the side would need a better show with the new ball from Rumman Raees who was expensive. Smith also looked in good form, but the rest of the attack will have to improve their show and tight spells would be expected from the likes of Wanindu Hasaranga, Russell, and Wiese who were expensive in the last game.

We would have clear skies over Abu Dhabi on November 21. The surface has been flat and lots of runs have been scored here in the venue. Bowlers have found the conditions challenging here and the side batting first in the game would need at least 130 runs on the board to feel confident.
Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi is a batting-friendly venue with a fast outfield and a flat surface that allows batters to score runs easily here. It is tough for the fast bowlers with little support for them. On the other hand, the spinners have done well here in the past and enjoyed a good record.
In this format of the game knowing the victory target puts the side in an advantage. In the past, more sides have won the game chasing the score. Hence the side that wins the toss here would have little hesitation in its mind and opt for bowling first in the game.
Both the sides have displayed great form so far and we would have a great game on our hands. Team Abu Dhabi has a very strong batting line-up but their performance with the new ball hasn’t been at its best. Deccan Gladiators ticked all the boxes in the last game playing magnificently. We expect this to be a very close game but Gladiators with more depth in the side would start nose ahead here.
