Tournament: Abu Dhabi T10 League 2021-22 | Format: T10 | Venue: Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, UAE | Toss: To Bowl
Bet NowWe are entering the most crucial state of the league matches in the Abu Dhabi T10 League, 2021-22. In the 22nd game of the tournament Team Abu Dhabi would take on The Chennai Braves. Team Abu Dhabi has lost the last two games and come here with a loss against the Northern Warriors. The Chennai Braves also fared poorly in the last game going down against the Bangla Tigers.
The Chennai Braves are searching for their first win of the tournament and the side has suffered seven losses in a row. The side lacks confidence at the moment and this would be a major concern in the camp. Team Abu Dhabi has been one of the best sides so far and it remains to be seen if The Chennai Braves can win this game against the run of play.
After a wonderful start that saw them winning the first five games, Liam Livingstone’s side has lost two back-to-back games. Too much experimentation and poor show with the ball have resulted in these defeats. Livingstone would like to get the campaign back on track with a win in this game and expect to see a better show from his bowlers.
Daniel Bell-Drummond didn’t score many runs playing his first game of the season and he would have to make runs opening alongside Paul Stirling. Livingstone and Colin Ingram are in good form, and they would look to make runs here as well. The side would want runs from Chris Benjamin, Jamie Overton, and Marchant de Lange down the order.
Their bowling was torn apart in the last game. Fidel Edwards and Ahmed Daniyal must bowl better lines and get early breakthroughs in this game. Marchant de Lange has had a good tournament and he would have to keep things tight in the middle overs. The side would also look for a good show from Livingstone, Danny Briggs, and Overton.

There is no end to the misery for the Braves. They changed the skipper in the last game with Angelo Perera given the charge of the team but there was no change in fortune as they suffered a 9-wicket loss against the Bangla Tigers, their seventh consecutive loss. All Perera and his men would want here is a win to restore their pride and confidence.
Mohammad Shahzad played well in the last game and the side would like to see a good start from him and Toby Albert. Mark Deyal, Perera, and Samiullah Shinwari have to play good hands in this game for the side to compete. In Dhananjaya Lakshan, Khalid Shah, and Roman Walker they have good depth in their batting and shall look to make use of that.
Bowling has been a problem area for the side, and they would need early wickets from Munaf Patel and Deyal given the strength Team Abu Dhabi has at the top. Kevin Koththigoda and Walker would have to keep things under control in the middle overs of the game and look for good support from Lakshan.

We would have clear skies over Abu Dhabi on November 28. The surface has been flat and lots of runs have been scored in the last few games. The conditions have been challenging here for the bowlers. The side batting first in the game would need at least 140 runs on the board to feel confident.
Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi has a batting-friendly surface and the fast outfield complements it. Batsmen have done well at this venue in the past. It is a very tough venue for the fast bowlers with little assistance for them. Spinners do well and they gave enjoyed success in the past at this venue.
It is a format of the game that favors the side chasing the score. We have seen this in the last few games where sides have chased down big scores. Setting up a target won’t be easy on this ground and hence the side winning the toss would like to bowl first and take advantage of the toss.
The Chennai Braves have just not come here with their preparations. Having lost seven games the side would first need to win the mental battle here and play hard cricket out in the middle. Team Abu Dhabi would also look for a win here after two consecutive losses. They need to settle the side and not go for further experiments. They have a strong batting line-up and the side would start favorites to win this game.
