Both the sides have made good start to the season winning their respective opening games. The sides have shared a great rivalry over the years and sides had shared the honors winning a game each during the league stages.

Titans Preview

Heinrich Klaasen would have been extremely impressed with the performance his side put up in the last game against Knights. They bowlers did well and the batting looked impregnable and they would like to carry forward the same in the next game. 

The Top 3 Henry Davids, Tony de Zorzi and Heino Kuhn played incredibly well in the last game. The unbeaten hundred from de Zorzi would have given him lot of confidence. The side has a great middle order in Heinrich Klaasen, Chris Morris and Grant Thomson which makes the batting look extremely strong. 

The Knights' bowlers did well in the last game especially Lungi Ngidi. Chris Morris and Junior Dala also bowled well troubling the opponents. With Shaun von Berg and Tabraiz Shamsi in the side they have the right balance in the attack. With such a dominating attack the team will count its chances in the next game.

Dolphins Preview

Dolphins who are the defending champions did well in the last game against Lions and skipper Khaya Zondo would be impressed with the performance his batsmen put up. He would be looking to win the next game as this will give them an advantage on the points table. 

Vaughn van Jaarsveld made a great hundred in the next game and wicketkeeper Dane Vilas also looked good for his 81. David Miller showed his class with a quick fire innings. The batting overall looks good for the side with Morne van Wyk and Khaya Zondo in the side and they will want to continue with the same aggressive momentum they showed in the last game. 

The bowlers had a nightmare of a game last time around and gave away 300+ runs. Prenelan Subrayen and Robbie Frylinck bowled well in the last game but rest of the bowlers spread it all over the wicket and cost their side many runs. It will be important for people like Mthokozisi Shezi and the experienced Andile Phehlukwayo to bowl well in the next game for the side to win the match.

It has been raining at this place for the last few days which means that the pitch would be slightly damp and shall assist fast bowlers. The track won’t favor batsmen who wish to play slam bang and rather people who have the temperament to build an innings are likely to be successful here.

SuperSport Park, Centurion is one of the liveliest pitches in South Africa which offers good bounce and carry. The grass cover on the pitch assists fast bowlers. Batsmen who play through the line have also enjoyed good success at this ground. Fast bowlers however prefer bowling here compared to any other ground in the country.

SuperSport Park, Centurion has been a good hunting ground for fast bowlers. With spells of rain continuing and forecast for overhead conditions the pitch would offer lot to bowlers who can pitch it up making batting difficult. The captain winning the toss should ideally invite the opposition to bat.
